Boy George appears on the Howard Stern Show after the Success Of The Crying Game, and to discuss upcoming projects. Unfortunately First 3 Minutes are in B&W, but it does come good. Full interview.. 1993
Every interview with Boy George you can see how down-to-earth he actually is. He listens to what he's being asked and answers truthfully. And then he drops in the biting retorts here and there, with a laugh. It's always a delight to come across these chat show videos with him.
Oh come on, the interview was fun in part because of Howard's way of interviewing. You wouldn't have been able to include so many questions in such a short amount of time if it hadn't been for Howard's antics.
George you are brilliant the way you breeze through these interviews there is no way that Howard Stern will ever trip you up you are straight forward with every answer to Howard's questions I love watching you be you. Please don't ever stop being you. You are a treasure. Love You Always.
It is like watching Boy George leisurely playing with a puppy. Howard Stern kept saying how terrible he is and how everyone is scared of him, and Boy George smiling and laughing and just being so cool. Haha.
@@enriquerodriguez499 ...Howard was known for being very rough on people that he thought were closeted....to the point that people thought he was homophobic....however he kept saying that he was not...and that he loved Boy George and would kill to have him on his show....we had no idea if he was kidding or not....we were puzzled...and Boy was confused too....but as you can see he had gone through quite a lot...and he felt comfortable and confident enough to do this interview...glad he did.....
My mom worked at the Excalibur casino in Las Vegas. She worked as a change girl . She told me , she asked boy George for his I.D. and he said to my mom,if im under 21 then your a hundred.. She didn't know it was Boy George at first. Hes young looking. She saw a lot of celebritys where she worked from time 2 time.. She told me she saw Michael Jackson at the Excalibur. He was walking to the arcade and he had kids following him .
boy george is so subdued here, seems depressed. i saw them in 1983. i was just a kid.13 it opened up a whole new world. stern is one of my favorite interviewers. I kinda miss the radio days of stern.
I kinda interpreted it like 'i like doing music when I'm doing it cos I wanna, but I don't wanna write songs cos I have to write songs or otherwise I don't get no money' But I dunno, that's just my thoughts, I'm not a mindreader!
Don’t quite understand the people that find the smallest things to complain about regarding Stern. That’s just what he does lol. Personally, I find other interviewers boring. He keeps it entertaining and the interviewee on their toes lol. Has boy ever made an appearance on the radio show? Seems like he was having a blast!
I love Howard and Boy but in this interview Howard's style of questioning is combative and not conversational, it's like he wants to be heard more than he wants to hear, he missed a great opportunity. He needs to learn how to STFU and let a guest talk
Look at me, I'm Howard Stern,I'm outrageous ,I'm such a rebel everybody.Howard 90's era interview style is insufferable stepping all over his guests answers.
It's funny how Stern here was impressed with sitting on the couch with a multimillionaire when he himself is now worth $650 million dollars ! That's $50 million dollars more than Tom Cruise is worth !
I met a lottery jackpot winner, sat and chopped it up with the dude. What he said to me stuck with me till this day.... “Im sure the happiest man on earth is not the richest man in the world!”
I like this incarnation of Howard - quite reverential towards BG. Can't imagine him being so open-minded during the Sirius Artie era. Although I am a huge fan of Artie's razor-sharp dry one-liners, never liked his oddly blinkered attitude to gay people - for someone so intelligent it just seemed oddly unenlightened.
Worst Howard Stern interview I've ever seen. Problem is that Boy George has already put everything out there, his sexuality, addicion issues etc...What Howard is good at is getting info out of celebs that others don't but with Boy George there's nothing to dig out. So his tendency to talk over his guests is more noticeable and annoying.
Howard Stern is horrendous. He's so creepy. How on earth he hasn't been cancelled I have no idea? He is gross, rude and intrusive and is in love with himself. Bot George not phased at all. Love him.
