21:10 there's 3 sub-unit in the group. 3Racha: bangchan, changbin, han jisung - they're the producer's of the group and produce pretty much all of their discography. They're have the most credit songs 4 gen idols at komca w more than 100 songs each. DanceRacha: lee know, hyunjin, felix - they take part in creating some of their choreography. Lee know is the dance leader, he's kinda of like their dance teacher, he help the members learn the choreography and leads the dance practices. VocalRacha: seungmin, I.N They just released a song with LiSA(japanese singer, she's the one who sings kimetsu no yaiba op, gurenge) social path, you should check out it's really good.

They still do Hellevator in their concerts. And each time it gets better. Han with that high note is amazing.😊

Hellevator was their pre-debut release, so yes......they were very young. Several of them were still in high school, and there were still 9 members at the time. (Woojin left in 2019, and SKZ have been an 8-member group ever since.)

Back Door followed God's Menu... Thunderous plays with traditional Korean instruments, clothing, legends, and settings. It's not a matador outfit. The blue flames are goblin fire. Hellevator is pre debut and when they had 9 members. The song is AMAZING. Stray Kids does

The outfit in thunderous that you thought looked like a matador is actually just a more modern inspired hanbok which are traditional Korean clothes a lot of k-pop groups will use modern stylized versions of hanboks for their outfits in music videos and on stage

The red outfits and blue flames in "Thunderous" Represent "Goblins" or rather "The Dokkaebi" that are part of Korean mythology. The Dokkaebi are morally ambiguous spirits/tricksters of the world who can bring blessings, as well as, curses to those they encounter. (Depending on a region) They are beings with immense supernatural powers. Stary Kids in Thunderous (this is my interpretation so it might not be correct) simply paint themselves as beings whose power is music. And just like the goblins their music is ambiguous but extremely powerful. It bings joy to those who enjoy it and it irritates those who hate it. It is also their statement that they wont change their own sound because some people find it displeasing.

The clothing is inspired by traditional Korean elements in Thunderous.

It is not a sneaky link song lollll.....It's about getting VIP at their exclusive party. It's only Korean/Asian fits. No matadors lol.

Hellevator is a PRE-debut single release then they released District 9 as their Debut March 25, 2018

hellevator was pre-debut in 2017 they debuted after on march 25th 2018 with the song district 9 as nine members. One member has since left and they continued as eight gods menu was released june 17 2020, back door was released september 14 2020. Thunderous was released august 23 2021. I recommend watching the music videos in order cause you can see and hear the growth. 3racha came before stray kids. Bangchan trained for 7 years before the forming of the group he hand picked the members himself.

Their early work is really underrated there are some absolute gems in their older albums. Tortoise and the Hare - this is one of my favourites. I've never heard anything like it before, so you have to listen more than once. It's a tricky one, not everyone will like it. Side Effects that's another quirky one. District 9, Chronosaurus, Boxer, M.IA. Going Dumb (featuring Alesso Korsak & Stray Kids) Miroh is most definitely a Concert Song - see Lollapalooza Paris Sorry, I could go on and on, and bore everyone to death, but I've loved everything they've released since they started.

I'm sorry this is going to be a long comment. I'm going to leave a list I give to baby Stay (STAY are the fandom for Stray Kids, if no one has said that yet) when they discover Stray Kids. Stray kids do have a story line of sorts. I'm going to leave it for you. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it is very important for people to watch. And parts of it are seen through out the story line. Hellevator is actually a song Stray kids wrote while taking part in the survival show that allowed them to debut from trainees to Idols. The lyrics have some pretty deep impact. Oh. And a side note that might not have been explained to you. When Stray Kids first debut, they were a 9 member group. One person (Woojin) left after a bit over a year & a half. Him leaving created a huge mess because they were preparing for a come back & had to push it back to rework everything without him, so we don't really talk about him. To me, he WAS part of SKZ, but is no longer. So even in the old stuff when I see him, I don't really count him. But you will see him in older videos. He was present till Double Knot, and that's the last of him being in the videos. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. I still highly suggest checking out their album trailers. They started making them into mini movies. There is also a mini story that covers several albums. It's about a group of school friends who start a film club. Then feelings & drama happen. I'll leave that list too. Mixtape: On Track Unveil track: "B Me" Mixtape: OH The View 3racha was formed during their trainee period. They actually put music out on soundcloud without asking the company. 3racha is made up of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. After they formed Stray Kids, they became the main producers of the group. Bang Chan was the one who picked all the members for Stray Kids. He had 3racha as a core, then chose who he thought would be best for his group. They then went through the survival show to prove they could make it as a team. When they first debut, everyone had assigned rolls...But as years went on & they experimented with their sound, they slowly lost the rigid group lines. All of them can dance, rap & sing. there's very little distinction anymore. They still have the three sub-groups, but those aren't all they are. Just what they are best at. 3racha is the main producers, but they all have started taking part in this. Danceracha are the ones who focus the most on dancing, but again, they all have input with the choreography team. Vocalracha are the two that do the most intense singing, but they all take part in how songs are sung & also rapped. I hope this helps.

Last week skz's new song came out: "Social Path" - what a banger! Skz featuring Lisa. Great! "District9" was their debute Song. Also "Victory Song". Had you watched "The Sound"?

In addition to Thunderous being one of my top fave songs, that one and Back Door are of my top favorite practice videos (other top ones being Easy, Miroh, Double Knot, and Boxer). I love practice videos--full view choreo is the best! And of all the changing hair styles and colors for all of them, I can't get over Han's rainbow hair---so good on him! Though used, Stray Kids video producers use far fewer green screens that some think. And their editors are masters of transitions (with matchcuts as specialty, imo). They take Stray Kids' greatness next level.

To think that they made this pre-debut (2017), when they were trainees at JYPE and they were on the survival show "Stray Kids" which shows the process of how they produced & created this song and others, as a mission. Fun Fact: (Hellevator) JYP actually told them that they sound bad because it's in a "female" key, but Chan stuck to his decision and this was the result.. awesomeness. It is still astonishing to me that originally both Lee Know and Felix were eliminated from the group. Chan really wanted everyone to debut and so did fans of the show. JYP allowed both boys back for another chance and the rest is history. Hard to imagine Stray Kids without either of them. There are a couple of other pre-debut performance MVs called "Grr (Beware)" and also "Spread by Wings" . Fun Fact 2: So Bang Chan, the man & producer he is, wrote District 9 (SKZ debut song) in an even "higher" key & showed that it wasn't a fluke & they nailed it. These earlier songs showed just how much potential Chan & the kids had and STILL showing Stay.

Some of their very early work was some of their best and hard hitting. District 9 was their debut song and other favourites are Victory and Chronosaurus, but you should really check out their latest Social Path with Lisa.

Just here to leave the obligatory Han appreciation comment. Thats their main rapper (together with Changbin) thats casually hitting those high notes in the hellevator hook. Even their main vocals didnt wanne go there but Han stepped up.

Chan and Felix are Australian, Han grew up in Malaysia. Seungmin and Hyunjin briefly grew up in the states I believe, So thats Seungmin's English is so good.

Felix reminds of of Billy Idol vibes in this one inspite of the longer David Bowie hair ahahah So true about Michael Jackson... they apply alot of his elements in many of their videos. It’s based on Bang Chan’s 7 year trainee journey chasing his dreams with all the challenges and victories included. The lyric SP, music and MV are amazing. FYI it is a Japanese release so no subs but most of the song is in English and some fans have already created the lyrics video if you want to watch that first..

Whether anyone cares or not 🙄 I don’t care, I’m putting it here for those who don’t know or curious who the extra guy is HELEAVTOR which is the former oldest member who left the group while still preparing for their CLÈ series comeback, of course everyone has their semi-partial theories of what happened and why etc because no one except the people involved knows the full story of why he suddenly terminated his contract and so fourth…. some say it was a combination of music path difference followed by prohibited three-year dating controversy but that is somewhat part of a whole picture that no one has and if the locals know they wouldnt share it to us so-called outsiders.
