There is cursing in Kpop with some other groups. The company this group is in (JYPE) doesn’t allow their idols to curse, but they can blur the lines.

Korean broadcasting would ban a song if it has swear words (fun fact - they would also ban a song if it has brand name in lyrics), that's why kpop groups try to avoid cursing in songs, so that it could be played on Korean radio, TV etc. However there is no rule that forbids cursing per se. btw "get lit" was actually initially forbidden for broadcasting in Korea, because its Korean title means "let's d!e" (I write "initially", because I don't know if JYP did smth about it or left it as it is, since it is a b-side). Sometimes kpop groups try to avoid this rule by making cursing not straightforward but obvious enough for the listeners, like you see in "topline". the most elegant way in my opinion was with the group Xdinary Heroes and their song "freaking bad", where there is a line "if you seek it why owe you" (if you don't see the lyrics, it sounds like F U C K Y O U). another example of masking cursing is in the English version of "super bowl" (it's a Stray Kids song). Good luck to your group even though 1 member left! Dedication is the most important, so maybe it is for the best. maybe you will find someone else to join you instead. SKZ also lost 1 member and were upset at some point of their career, but look at them know! so keep fighting and good luck!

I’m in Canada now but my son was born in Flemington NJ. I really like you guys. Get inspired by their outfits but create your own style to have your own identity, you already have the personality and charisma.
