Just win and move on. This is how things are gonna be, don't quit sports over it. Stoicism. Also, worrying about putdowns from others is a very feminine behavior.
@@brandonj6548 i saw this in a prison at Coffewood Correctional Center. Although they were playing around the other dude was getting heckled and shamed. They were doing a tug of war over a shirt and the gay guy was much bigger and was getting the better of his adversary by pulling him towards him. Eventually the other guy pretended to let him have the shirt but you could see he was embarrassed. Never judge a book by it's cover.
this is 100% the reason why I'm against boys vs girls. Grip in wrestling is very important. Loosen your grip because you felt something soft and she could explode away for an escape.
There were many times he could have grabbed and gone for a rollover, but you can see he never did. On those attempts he was wrestling with his wrists and not his hands. You can see him leave his hands off her many times. He could have won this much sooner, but he’s not just wrestling a strong, flexible girl. He’s also wrestling his morals and convictions.
@@worfoz WTF!?!? This was not a FIGHT. This was a wrestling match. In a wrestling match there are rules and clearly there are holds which he could and would have used against a male wrestler which he did not use against a female FOR MORAL REASONS. He should not have to feel like he has to hold back on legal actions in a match because they put a girl on the mat against him.
@@kennethfharkin I never understand male vs female wrestling matches... As a male you're too much restricted to not touching private areas and boobs? So how can this be fair? I presume it happened in the past that a lot of guys get a boner? So don't cry about sexual harrashment or assault when you grow older. It was their choice!
@@worfoz They sure as hell do NOT. Morals and convictions include determination and discipline. No one fights better than people who train and work hard to be the best.
@@growlerfrown487 that's b.s....he legit was trying to pin and she gave him lots of trouble. I will agree she never had the upper hand but he wasn't "going easy"
@@SnowPiercer1975 you could see that at the 1st part where he was almost pinning she contorted her body and was flexible to get out of it.I agree he wasn't going easier on her. It might have seem that to be later in the match but that comes from being tired too.
@@swmita Her flexibility was what was giving him all kinds of trouble. He had the upper hand throughout but he was definitely trying throughout as well
As a former competitive wrestler and martial artist I am 100% against male vs female within an otherwise male or female class. That said, she showed strength, technique, fortitude, and some other quality words. I would be proud to be her coach.
@@bryanallen8207 oh a crock of nonsense. The internet is full of girls wrestling boys and winning. Stop it with that ancient robot repeated statement. You're still a man or boy if you get beat by a girl or woman
She did pretty good, but it’s a tough match for him because although she probably wants zero special treatment, you just aren’t going to be as free with your hands or even certain body angles as you can be with a man. And at that age, it’s just gotta be twice as hard. Literally...
Speak for yourself. Some men aren't idiots who can't separate competition from sex, and would put their hands in the same place as they would a man, and take the same body angles as they would a man. "I'm not treating this any different than I would a male." "Good." *proceeds to destroy - hands wherever the fuck is most effective* "Good match." *shakes hands*
@@Marlonzen you are the one who should speak for himself. What the f*ck are you talking about. It not about the lack of ability to separate competition from sex. It's about not wanting to deal with the possible consequences of touching the opposite sex "inappropriately" without even intending to do so. In a time of #metoo and mobile phones one oughta be a little more careful to avoid lawsuits and/or social consequences.
She lost. But she is: very, very, very, very, very, very, very proud of losing to a stronger, much better trained, and far better conditioned athlete. BWAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAA!!!!!
I wrestled in HS, College, and fought MMA for years. I love the fact she's out there testing herself and others. Wrestling is one of the last remaining TRUE sports and I give her mad props for getting out here..
She is definitely a real fighter, but too many times he avoided the very obvious hold/move that would have touched her breasts or groin areas. He also avoided very serious holds meant to force release and body slams. But she hung in there fighting to the very end. Male, Female wrestling is truly a very dumb AND stupid competition from the get-go. If she fought a male who had no concerns or inhibitions fighting a female whatsoever, she would be pinned in no time at all AND she would leave the floor hurting. Whoever approves this kind of competition needs psychiatric help. .
You mean, within the context of a sport that has rules that favour male physical attributes such as upper body strength and outright muscle mass? Are you keen on sports where those aren't factors and where men & women compete on even terms? Or would that threaten your sense of masculinity?
Give it a rest already. Even FIDE has banned trans women from the women's competitions. Why can't we agree that there are differences between men and women so we can get on with life?
@@iatsd So wrestling was just invented a few years ago to subject females who wanted to compete against males to a competitive disadvantage? Males and females are not designed to compete/fight against each other - they're designed to complement each other in specific/necessary roles for mutual benefit/survival of each other and the species. nobody is born without a male and a female. I think human history has demonstrated that for at least a couple of centuries.
@@paulgruber1094 Yep. The best we can do is give women the option to compete against men. So far only Judit Polgar and Hou Yifan have taken up that challenge on a regular basis.
He ragged dolled her from one side of the mat to the other, but I'll give her this.. when she was on her back she was the squirreliest little wrestler I've seen in a long time slipping out of a pin.
I don't know why it always surprises me, but these girls seem to excel on defense. Plus, she didn't seem too gassed either compared to him. She did very well.
The kid on the sidelines at around the 2:00 mark looked like he wanted to through in that hand towel. I thought he said not fair. Either way that girl fought well and held her own in that match.
Apologies if I'm dense...but what was funny about it? It's kind of a "no-win" scenario for the guy. If he wins it's "so what?...you beat a girl". If he loses, it's "OMFG...you got beat by a girl".
Nice to see a girl holding her own, also interesting to watch the dude break a grip more than once since he was grabbing a "sensitive area," gentleman through and through...even at the detriment of his game.
I am by no means a wrestler but it looked like her extreme flexibility allowed her to escape a lot, I never gave any thought to how much flexibility could help in grappling.
Funny? Not sure but it was entertaining trying to find that. I agree that he should have asked her out afterward, but high school boys never get it. Most are clueless when it comes to dating.
The children's commentary was the annoying part of this video. Constant talk about touching her and how his dignity is going to take a hit if he loses. Maybe I misheard, but I don't think so.
At 1:37 you see his disadvantage; he starts to make his move and realizes he will be shunned for grabbing her breast and has to think of something else to do. At 1:42 he decides to not grab her crotch and lift her up; he loses control and she stands up. She was quick, but testosterone matters; she weighes slighter more than him but he has more muscle-mass.
She competed hard and he gave her the respect she deserved by taking her seriously. That said men and women are built differently. Simply being in the same weight class does not begin to balance out the physical advantages of men vs women in a sport like wrestling. I am sorry, this never should have happened. Girls are going to get unnecessarily hurt.
It is the most unfair thing you can do to a boy. Hell some things are just unnatural for a guy. I don't like it. And it should have never been allowed. Poor guy. Bullys will have a hay day.
In all these guys destroying girls vid pretty much almost single guy just has a blank face and doesn’t want to be there. Never see them act any way after I think it’s unfair as well.
@@steverogers7611 then let your daughter fight girls. Boy's can't wrestle right against girls. Watch the damn video. She wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes if she was a girl.
@@denzelanderson9454 BJJ isn't about girls vs boys etc......it's a learned skill. It's about matching skill levels.....gender shouldn't matter. Also, there are 10 times the amount of males in the sport so any woman in BJJ is going to be rolling with guys 95 percent of the time. And they are usually better for it ......iron sharpens iron
I feel sorry for the guy. I hope he wasn't coerced into wrestling her. As for me, under no circumstances would I wrestle a girl. I would quit wrestling rather than compete against a girl. For the guy, it's lose or not lose. Even if you win, it's big deal, you were supposed to win. And if you lose to a girl it's suicidal.
I dont know who to feel more sorry for. Theyre both in awful scenarios. Being grabbed and pinned by a guy holding an akward red rocket against you, or having one during a match with a girl in front of your friends.
I recommend she use the ol’ 5 on 2 method. It is considered a dirty move, but will prevent her opponent from trying the 6 pack grab. AKA, 2 in the pink, one in the stink.
The guy won the fight being completely dominant all the event. The comment section: - She is great, she is tough, she is a great fighter -Not any compliment for the actual winner Cmon guys stop being so condescending and feel compeled to compliment a gurl every effing time she breaths.
