no, I did not have that problem. You may have to check the fit and adjust the bedding, it may be too deep in this case.

tried that, the factory stock is just too short for me. I even added a butt pad to extend, but it just wasn't sufficient.

There are no torque spec, so I used 35lbs. I check all the fasteners after shooting to ensure they stay tight.

I don't know, I didn't think of weighing it before/after. I will say that it is heavier than the synthetic stock. It feels more substantial and much more solid.

@MarW I went with the prairie hunter and it added about a pound and a half. I disagree with your thoughts on weight. Guns don't need to be heavy to be accurate. I enjoy my carbon fiber hunting rifles and save my heavyweights for the range or lazy treestand hunts
