I'm teaching my granddaughter how to crochet. She has trouble holding the crochet hook and I think these hooks would help her with getting a better grip on it. We actually watch your tutorials they help her learn a lot and we are faithful to your channel because you make sure we get it right. You take the time to talk to us as well, like family. GB

I've used them before but gave to my mother in law for more comfort on her fingers so now I'm using the regular ones again. I love to watch all your tutorials this is where I learned to crochet so many different things they helped me to get better and to read patterns so thank you very much for all the videos you post!!!!

I crochet all the time. I just became a grandmother and I watch your channel all the time making her all kind of nice things but most of the hooks really make it hard to do it. I have tried the rubber bands with the penile holder over it but they keep breaking. I think it would be really nice to be able to try these. I love your channel! I love doing your stuff compared to others. You explain everything really good and you don't rush with them.

I have wanted some ergonomic hooks for a long time. These look so nice. I started to crochet really late in life and learned the skill by watching your videos on RU-vid. My hands get a little stiff at times and ergonomic hooks would really help. Thank you for everything you do.

I love crocheting, but injured my wrist last year and couldn't do anything for about 9 months. So after my wrist healed, I changed all my hooks and the tension I used. I would love to try these out cause I just can't give up my love for crocheting! Thank you Yolanda for offering this giveaway! God bless you! :D

Oh wow, this will be my first time participating in a RU-vid giveaway! I always see these and never really bother to watch them, but when I saw you put one on your channel I had to try my luck and take part. I've only started with crochet a few weeks ago, but your channel was the one which got me into it. Before I only did knitting with straight needles. Now I'm totally hooked (See what I did there?) crochet and your channel, and I've even decided that this year all of my Christmas gifts to others will be things I learned to make on your channel. So, these hooks will for sure make a big difference for me :)

l am a disabled RN & Veteran.... these crochet hooks, work well for me.. the ergonomic shape good for physical disabilities/arthritis etc. they decrease the pain in my hand(s) for crafts and enable me to continue crocheting.(..even when numbness sets in & l have to put on wrist braces to continue my work,...) they are comfortable to use, & help ensure consistency with stitches of project...having chronic pain from multiple back surgeries...crocheting helps distract me, from my pain.. and folks find me crocheting everywhere l go, even Sunday morning church...! I got the hint from you about the elastic bands & pencil grips, so these would be perfect. I have a bit of arthritis in my fingers so can't always grip the thinner hooks, even though I love using thinner yarn sometimes it's just not possible. Using these could help me do more crochet for my grand children - new grandson due in January so doing blankets, little sweaters, jackets, bootees etc. So excited. Thanks for getting me back into crochet after a 30 year break. The first thing I made was your unique stitch sweater. I love it & have made loads in differing sizes for family members, even managed to adapt the pattern to fit an adult. Happy Crochet xx

I crochet scarves and hats for the elderly and these look so comfortable. I also wrap rubber bands around my crochet hook for a better grip. I use the same hooks for all my projects and try to adjust the best way I can because my budget is so tight. Having a variety of hooks would be awesome. Good luck to everyone.

Crocheting is therapy for my soul! It relaxes me so. However at my age I am starting to have pain in my hands and wrist and worry that I might have to stop doing so much. I have never used ergonomic needles and wonder, if they might help me. Thanks for all your wonderfully helpful lessons!!

I'm so excited for this product review! I feel like you should do more... I would love to win this set for many reasons but the main reason is because I am a beginner to crocheting I will soon be returning to the state of NE and when we lived there in the past I did a lot of crocheting to pass the time and use all my new blankets, hats, and scarves in the cold weather. Because we are moving back I have decided to teach my daughters how to crochet 6 and 4 they are creating very simple projects but it keeps them entertained and it helps with thr confidence... they love showing off new accomplishments. I have noticed them having a hard time at times because of the way they hold the hooks this would benefit all of us and give us the chance to continue with our mother daughter activities with more organization and less "finger pain" :) thanx again!!!!

I have Systemic Lupus and began losing muscle mass throughout my body. My hands and wrists were also effected so I took up crocheting as physical therapy in August 2014. It has helped with hand and eye coordination too. I use clay on my crochet hooks to make them big enough so my hands don't cramp since I can't use a regular needle. These would be perfect for comfort reasons since they are softer than clay handles. I learned to crochet from your tutorials.

Hi Yolanda, thank you for having this giveaway. I would gift these to a dear friend of mine I have known since 1995, she is a disabled veteran from the Navy who moved to Wyoming about four years ago and she has a lot of health issues but the one thing that keeps her mind occupied is crocheting blankets for the homeless in her local area. She would use any kind of yarn given to her and she keeps them in a big box next to her recliner so as she runs out of a skein she reaches in and grabs the next one and keeps on crocheting until she has a good sized blanket. Then at Christmas time she delivers them to church for distribution. I know she would really get some pain relief in her hands if she had a set like this.

! I have been crocheting just less than 3 years, after I moved out of my home & retired. I enjoy it but one of the problems I find with the regular crochet hook is my hands start to crap up or get tired. I have used other hooks similar to the ones that you showed one the video & I have found my hands don’t get as tired or crap up. So yes, I would love to win a set of these Boye hooks with the case. Those hooks look amazing. I'm always crocheting and looking for hooks for comfort. I have a few favorites that I use constantly and of course they never wear out but unfortunately they get misplaced or someone hides them from me. Right now I am doing a lot of hats for newborns in need, my goal by the end of this year is to have 100 hats for this organization. I am also crocheting many awareness items for Conquer Chiari to raise money for the organization I am very involved with since losing my daughter five years ago to Chiari Malformation. I stopped crocheting after she died and left her two babies behind but then became very active again in crochet about a year ago. I'm hooked and it is the best therapy ever. I am having great fun bringing back all my cool shawl and poncho patterns from the 70's. The kids love them. One thing I noticed, though, is that Boye's I hook is 5.25 mm. I also have a Clover I hook that measures 5.5 mm. This probably won't make a difference to most people but for someone like me who is dependent on the hook for gauge it is something to be aware of.
