Nick definitely had the pads in the wrong place if he could feel pins and needles. I use a tens machine for pain and it can really hurt if not in the right place. Anyone else think Nick sounded like Monica in friends when he was shouting "seven, seven, seven!!!" 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Jazzy, I'm new here! Omg that was absolutely hilarious, I was laughing all the way through, you two are brilliant together. We definitely need more vids with you both using that. Jazz if you suffer with horrendous period pains (I vomit when I’m on, haven’t fainted but I do suffer with anemia) I’d highly recommend a tens machine, it’s been a GOD send for me. I also take aspirin (thins the blood and makes it easier to pass) and lavender bath soak is a muscle relaxer which is meant to help too! I use tens machine, aspirin and lavender bath soak and it gets me through, since using them is had less time off work…. Hopefully it might help you 💗

Unfortunately this is how they can be, I was 3 days in slow labour but the pain was all worth it I promise you 😊 this is my third pregnancy, unfortunately second pregnancy ended in my baby girl sleeping but like I said the pain is worth it. You two will be amazing parents ♥️ also don't tense up try and relax

This honestly made me laugh so much 😂.... So here is my labour story to bore you all 😂.... Contractions started on Friday night in the car driving home with my fiance after a walk around the mountain. On Saturday i was in excruciating pain every 10 minutes. My fiance asked if i wanted him to stay home or go to work (hes a chef) i sent him to work. No one else new i was in labour. I couldnt stand sitting there in self pity at home so i went for a 3 course meal with my cousin where my partner works. I had a hake and scallop risotto and then a chocolate brownie sundae for dessert. Contractions still happening every 10 mins. So i caved and had a small white wine spritz because my thought was "f*ck it. Shes going to be here within the next few hours anyway 😂" then i got home and on sunday morning at 3am we went to hospital. They said i was 2cm dilated so i can go home. I went home and my partner started playing fortnite while i was hunched over in agony 😂 i could of killed him. Every time i had a contraction i needed him to press all his weight on my lower back to help the pain. At 5pm i said we needed to go back to hospital to which he replied "are you sure now because i dont want to drive all the way there just to drive back again" all i did was look at him and then silently walk to the car... He didnt argue at that point 😂 in the car i felt every single little pebble we drove over and it hurt so much. I cried a little 😂 got to the hospital and i was only 5cm dilated. I got into the water as i was having a water birth and everything was okay for a while until at 12am monday morning they asked me to come out the water to check on me and i was still only 5cm i could of cried. So they said its best to stay out the water for a while and move around. I asked if i had to stay out of the water is there any drug i could have. They gave me pethidine.... It was the best thing on planet earch. I fell straight to sleep. According to my partner i woke up every 3 minutes to the contractions but i remember none of that. I thought i slept for about 10 hours straight 😂... They checked me at 4am and i was 9cm so they said i could get back in the water. Once in the water having a contraction i asked my fiance to press my back again and his response was "i cant keep doing this, my backs hurting" the midwife laughed and i never shouted so loud in my life 😂😂😂 Finally at 4:45 my little girl was about to be born and i started pushing... But it was really weird. I wasnt trying to push my body sort of took over and it was like i was possessed. My daughter was born at 5:01am on Monday 20th August 2018. When she was finally born a few hours later i asked my partner to get my lucozade out of my bag which i was saving especially and he told me he drank it. To which i cried heavily and felt betrayed. He has never been forgiven for that betrayal on the most hormonal day of my life 😂😂😂😂😂😂 x

Jazzy dear, that is how contractions work... the pain gets slowly stronger and then slowly lessens, it doesn't just stay constant until your pushing. I too have horrid cramps, and it helped me handle the first phase of my labor I think.... lol Y'all are just too cute!!

Wow Jazz, you're so brave! I never thought you'd dare to do this! Btw if your period pain is that bad, you may have endometriosis. It's not normal to pass out or be sick because of it. Maybe get your doctor to look in on it, and if they won't, change your gp. I go to a new one too, the old one didn't listen and I ran around with unchecked asthma for years. It's a bit awkward to change, but really worth it.
