@@PorkChunky I am a runner and I run at Nationals and maybe it is just me but when I'm out there on the track, I don't hear my name. My concentration is focused on my running, breathing, stride, and competition.
Congrat to the winning team ,Quincy wilson i hope no one force u go pro early, stay in school and be a monster on that track then when u turn pro goes to Bob Kersee he will make u famous worldwide, you has the potential, i'm wishing you all the best in the future, and reminds me of Butch Reynolds and your running style is like Quincy Watts, this young man can be the youngest to run the 4x4 relay at the olympics 2024 , Fred Kerly first, Noah Lyle's 2nd Rai Benjamin 3rd and put this young 16 yr old Quincy watts to anchor he will bring it home,he very young ,talented and have a mind like a pro,he just need to be in Bob Kersee hands go Quincy don't turn pro as yet goes to college, I'm wishing u all the best and stay injured free u will know on the track
Wow . Absolutely insane . That would still be ranked as a top ten 4x4 time for Boys outdoor. Just awesome Love it . And their B team could probably go around a 3:19 . ..Can't wait to see them at Penn Relays . I think they could go 3:08 or better there .
This is great for indoor. The fastest time I know of is Dallas Roosevelt High with a time of 3:09.14 in 1984. That was outdoor. Texas schools do not run track meets indoor.
i came here top watch the Q-Man and noticed a HUGE lane violation by lane 3 NORTH on first leg. almost no steps in his lane on the second bend, and 15 on the lane or inside it on the first bend. Its crazy. almost the whole second bend not in his lane. 2:42 - 2:57...count them..one was almost in the MIDDLE of the lane next to him. Totally robbed McNamara of a silver medal.
@@ft5185 yea there is normally at least four Texas teams running below 3:13 yearly… also it’s weird because Texas schools don’t go to Penn relays either… football kinda is the same way we don’t really play out of state consistently
@@dwayneoukid Are they running that outdoor or indoors, because indoor times tend to be a little slower than outdoor times. Which is why this is a big deal, because if a texas team ran a 3:11 indoor they should've got and invite to nationals. They would've been same heat as Bullis but outdoor they might have to watch out for Bullis still because if they ran a 3:11 indoors they're gonna fly outdoors.
they technically qualified for Olympics .. also they actually beat the Women's olympic 4x400m record ...think that was 3:15.... they definitely would give the Men 4x400m olympic team a run for their money
Quincy absolutely has to tighten up his form. He is all over the place and all over the track. Also...Bullis isn't a high school. They are a private academy that recruits athletes.
Facts it’s like montverde academy in basketball they’re not a high school. My team in hs ran 315 indoors 310 out and we were all from the same neighborhood. Also ran 740 in 2 mile relay. Back then these clubs or academy’s didn’t exist.
