I watched this race in person and was absolutely amazed the way there second leg ran so strong and then just Jelani doing Jelani things.

Those handoffs were perfection, especially from 2>3 National team can learn a lot from them!

Their anchor is insane. Same kid that ran 10 low. Sheeeeesh

Virtually PERFECT passes and FANTASTIC speed, especially the anchor! The previous record of 39.76 was set by Wyatt Fort Worth in 1998. Before this race, Wyatt’s time was one of only FIVE high school 4x100m relays under 40 seconds….and one of the other four was ALSO run by Wyatt in 1998. Humble’s time was SO fast that Duncanville, running 39.65 in second place, also beat Wyatt’s record and they weren’t even CLOSE to Humble Atascosita’s time of 38.92! That is an improvement of 2.113%! Let’s put it another way. In the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships, 17 of the top 24 teams set Season’s Best times. Humble would have finished SIXTEENTH! Nebraska was one of 12 teams setting a SB time ahead of Humble’s time and only beat Humble by .01 seconds. Humble time was better than Oregon, Campbell, Arizona, Arkansas, Alabama, Purdue, Louisiana, UCLA, and South Florida! AMAZING!

Atasocita handoffs were completely bananas.

Imagine running a 40.01 IN HIGH SCHOOL and getting 3rd😂😂 Texas speed STOOPID!!!!

Tompkins placed 3rd at 40.01 and these three were the fastest times in the US so far. If FB Marshall didn't have a bad exchange, they'd be pretty close to 40 as well. That's an immense amount of talent on one track

Open enrollment. Last leg was at Klein last year. Changed up his running mechanics. Third leg is tough also. Excellent handoffs. Good job.

For all of you who think boys or men should be allowed in women's sports. The teams from first to fourth had faster times than the women's ALL TIME WORLD RECORD in the 4x100 at 40.82. These are high school boys running.

Hopefully the members of that team are smart enough to leave football alone and see what track has to offer. That anchor has a real future in that sport.

This cannot be the US national record! No way! It is 37.10, run in 2019. Heck, even in 1992 the US ran 37.4 how dumb is this video. The old record from 1998 was miles behind the record. Sorry but with this time you will get absolutely smoked by last place in the 2012 Olympics. Winner had 36.84, then second place 37.04 and third 37.89 (sencond git doping dq'ed and third also dq rule 163.3a). Common. This is so dumb
