My friend was once passing all dressed through an alley alone during the day , a guy on a bike rushed pass her and started passing weird remarks and even touched her. She started abusing him as soon as the guy heard it he rushed back towards her and tried to hit her , she ran away with so much difficulty. So I was just wondering what should a girl do in such situations cause obviously men are more physically strong , if we abuse them or hit them due to their horrible actions God knows what they will do in return

The first time i was traveling to a bus i sat alone in a seat of two. A boy came and sat beside me . After some time he started elbowing me in my chest. I didn't felt it initially because as I was wearing a fur coat. Then he started putting legs close to mine . He told me if i could come with him in the last seats of the bus where his other freinds are. I was so shocked and felt really scared when he did put his hands on my thighs . I was shivering due to fear. Again he tried touching my chest through his elbow. It was then my fear converted into anger. I punched him so hard , that i sure it had left him a bruise. He then got up from the seat and then not came back throughout the ride. I felt so disgusted and felt scared that what he could have done as he had his friends with him . But after then i realised it's only you who could make you feel protected. It's only you who will be your own Hero.

As someone who was physically harassed and then treated as the bully and because I couldn't just suck it up to quietly deal with it by the teachers and nearly the whole school this hits really deep. Me and my friend were walking around the streets (we live in a small town) when a car drove past us with 4-5 guys who were yelling at us. I don’t remember exactly what they yelled, but i know it made me uncomfortable. The same car drove past us multiple times and yelled at us each time. I remember for the first time in my life, i was scared of walking home, and i had lived in that town ever since i was born. I was also 13 or 14 at the time. I remember when I was still a teenager, I was buying something in a sari-sari store then suddenly a group of boys approached me. One of the boys asked me before if I could be his girlfriend but i didn't pay attention to him because I'm still in elementary that time wtf?! I know some of them because we live in the same barangay, but that time I'm really scared because I was the only one buying on the store. I have never told this to anyone, but when I was thirteen my first cousin who was 25 or 26 harassed me for almost a year. I was so young that I didn't even now what was happening with me. I remember this one time I was walking back home from my soon to be high school (I went there for an orientation). While I was walking home, there was this car with about 3-4 ppl in it, and they catcalled me. Mind you, I was wearing jeans, a tank top, and a crop top OVER the tank top. The guys looked like they were all about 18-20 or something, and I was just 14. This just shows that IT DOESN'T MATTER WHATEVER YOU WEAR- you'll still get catcalled and you'll still be uncomfortable.

A few secs into the video had me shocked to the core. I've been watching kdramas for a long time but I never knew that they have addressed so many social issues over the years. I would like to commend the actors who played in the roles of the perpetrators because those scenes made me cry. Honestly, I teared up, from rage & a feeling of injustice. Throughout the video I felt like I would beat the life out of these scumbags so they can never be in a position again to repeat their crimes. When, the scenes of the women fighting back came, I got goosebumps. I still think, these perpetrators deserve way more punishment than they received. I absolutely loved your edit. Watching this digusts me, i know its all fake but shit like this happens every single day. As a guy that is best friends with a girl. Shes told me shes scared to walk by herself without me or her family. It makes me sick that some ppl cant be even slightly respectful

when I was in elementary, I was SA'ed by my neighbor ( he's 19 ). He also threatened me, and tried to switch the story, and blamed me. When I was in high school, I opened up to my older sister, I confessed to her that I was SA'ed, and it's just sad when she also confessed that she was assaulted by the same person when she's also in elementary. It was too late when we found out that he's a pedophile.

I still remember this one time i was travelling. An old man probably in his 60s came sat next to me. While i was peacefully sitting and minding my own business, i noticed that he placed his hands on my thighs, i thought it was alright since he looked a bit tired. But then his hands started to slip in my inner thighs around my private part. I was so scared that i couldn't understand what to do. I got up and changed my place when he didnt stop caressing my inner thighs for a while. I was just 10 years old.

I am a 16 yr old girl and something similar happened to my best friend last year.... there was an old man who was in her house like her grandpa or some? Idk that day my bestie and me were sitting in living room she was sitting on a couch and I was sitting at the dining table both are close so we were chatting about random stuff and stopped and were searching about something on our phone's and that old man first looked around and made sure there was no one in the living room he didn't see me as I was on last chair And what he did was enough for me to hate him He went straight up to my bestie and she said nthng because he was standing there and looking around.... few secs later he touched her private area and I sensed before hand something was going to happen so I had turned on the camera and recorded the video of him touching her inappropriately. After few minutes he went away and sat back on other couch which was far away from us and started reading newspaper like nothing happened. I stopped recording and as I looked at my bestie I can clearly remember her face how she had frozen there mouth open totally shooked to her core She made eye contact with me and ran fast to bathroom and cried for an hour...... my blood was boiling a lot I wanted to kick him and slap him but couldn't as he is same age as my grandfather and we can not raise our hands on our elders but that disgusted me I told about this to her brother and mother and even showed the video they were angry too we later showed that video to her dad and I felt bad for him he wasn't expecting his dad to be like this he felt ashamed of his dad and that old man's wife was disappointed too and didn't talk to him They all confronted about it to him but he didn't seem to care and that sucks I imagined if I hadn't got that feeling of something bad happening would have they believed me and my bestie? It was the middle of the day. I was fully clothed (even though clothes don't matter in a situation like this. As soon as I stepped inside the room I had a breakdown. The good thing is the people working there are all women. A lot of these drama I found really cheesy but these scenes specifically really opened a conversation on how relevant it is to be sexually harassed or be talked to like a s*x object. South Korean Law has always been hard for victims who try to get justice against there perpetrator but were let down by the legal system. These scenes are enough for girls to talk about what happened to them even if they get let down they won’t stop trying to get justice. Nowadays K-dramas are becoming more aware of issues surrounding SA, harassment, mental health, abuse, bullying, suicide, and r*pe. To create a change you must start a conversation and understand the mentality of it.

Last year around Christmas I was with my parents walking around and unknowingly a guy touched me (I was 12 then), since I was around 11 boys and men started to cat call me when I was walking, this don't only happen to a few women. well since everyone is sharing their own stories I want to share mine too, there have been many incidences but I will tell some of them.. 1) Around an year or 1 1/2 ago, I was travelling on a bus with my mother, it was a journey of 2-3 hours.. it was an early bus and I was pretty sleepy so I unconsciously slept and my mother too for the same reason(was sitting on the front seat, the one just beside the door and my mother's seat was just behind mine).. I was 12 at the time but I looked 16-17 and tall but definitely looked very young. the bus ticket collector who seemed to be descent, sat beside my while I was asleep.. He was forcibly touching his legs to mine and his hand and elbows to mine.. Because of this I woke up and coincidently my mum too and wasting no seconds she called me to her seat.. It was early and 90% people in the bus were men,, didn't really do anything cause, and also I had not really realized much or you can say my brain wasn't working.. still regret not doing anything! 2) The second one took place around 2-3 years ago.. I had just got off my bicycle in front of a bakery.. was wearing a mini frock.. At the same time, a small truck passed by with 15-20 men and I swear to god literally all of them stared at my legs(I was an open one don't know what you call them) and I am telling you it was horrible.. for context I am an Indian and people(men) here are absolutely horrible, I live in a pretty developed city but you see! and also I am not allowed to wear anything short anymore(my family is not conservative) for my own safety and cherry on top, I can not really adjust long clothes cause they make me uncomfortable... yep it ends here

In my old school boys would say my name in a very flirty way (I didn’t think anything of it at first since I identified as gay at the time and I thought they were just joking around) then it would be like weird flirty jokes (they did this to all the girls in our class Btw) then I overheard them talking about me and they said along the lines “and she’s Russian too so you know😏” (I was the only half Russian kid on our year) and I was so disgusted that they thought about me like that all cuz of my ethnicity, another instance was I was just minding my own business in a game (we were all on voice chat) and then a bunch of guys started following me and saying my name in a moaning voice (I told them to stop cuz I was uncomfortable but they wouldn’t so I tried to get away from them as fast as I could and they knew I was a minor and they all sounded like 16-18 years older) I’ve really only started to join with girls when I’m in the game and all this happened around the same time 🙁

nobody know about it, when I was 9 years old my mom got seriously ill and my father had to take care o her so he sent me to live with his close friend whom my mother considers as her brother during the weekend. I was on my jogging routine at morning on the road, then theres a drunk old man tried to hug me in from front. Glad theres people around but still i feel uncomfortable. *Why do they not tell about it to their parents?* I think because of= 1. Lack of awareness= They don't know what is happening to them and how to react. They just freeze during IT. 2. Hesitation to tell others= because they find it hard to talk such 'harsh' things with others, especially parents. Sometimes, they even think they are overthinking and might have misunderstanding about it. 3. When they don't tell about it on the day 1 itself, they fear that their parents would scold them for not telling from the day it all started. 4. Childish trends= The cute crush things in school starts when students are 11 or 12. So they might not know which flirting is good and which one is 'a sin'... So they choose to laugh it off. 5. Being a part of the crime= a 6-7 years old girl, influenced by movies, might not really hate touch from her 'known' of her age. And might not be able to tell due to the guilt and realise it all when she grows up.

It's not all men I know but I still get scared when I'm alone with one who I don't know. That's why I have a cutter, a blade, and a scissor in my bag that I can use to stab or if needed kill someone with if I'm attacked. As a 14 yrs old girl the fact I need to take these measures to protect myself feels shit

" And he told me that they all said that they chooses those people who are scared to take actions and are silent over the crime, they don't like people who stand out in public and question their doings or Harrassments, they hate being the center of attraction and wasting time... Once me and my sisiter were going to market and on our way she noticed a boy maybe in her twenties following us with his bicycle for almost about 15 to 20 minutes and was constantly looking at me. I have been through this three times and didn't did anything about it. One day I was coming home from the shop it was early in the morning no one was around one dude came to me with his member out asking me to help him with his scooty I acted as if I didn't saw it and went away holding a stone then cried on my way home. Second time in a bus the guy sitting next to me kept touching my thighs at Frist I thought it was a mistake but no and yet I didn't did anything. Third time I was with my seniors and my sister (older) they started complimenting me for wearing a saari or a full covered dress my sister told me to not to react and I didn't but I had a smile on my face. For a matter of fact I was scared all those times and hated myself for not doing something about it.

I was too afraid to tell my parents then one day my mom noticed a blue mark on my leg and I told her. then my father went to the school and they all had to say sorry to me. I will never forget it Now I have confidence ( I am 13 now and in 7 class ) and I am not that afraid anymore but I am a liitle even now and I never told this to my friends. I dint had any friends then but I have now. I study in all girls school like therev are 2 buildings in one school one is for boys and the other is for girls. I dont mean that every boy in this world is bad. Some are very good humans.

When I was 13 years old I was at the way on my home from my basketball training It was something in 20:00-21:00 and it was already pretty dark I only needed 5 minutes until I would be at home but then a guy called me out I didn’t think much of it because I thought he want to know the way or something or need help So I stopped and listen to him I think he was drunk at the time but he talked weird He kinda said “Wow I saw you and you have an amazing body” Well yes I was 13 at the time but I was pretty tall 180cm and hit puberty early pretty hard But still it was weird for me and also How would he see my body in thick winter clothing Anyway he talke and talked and I felt weird out he was like around 40 years I guess And then he touched my hood I had put on and put it down And at that moment I reacted I said to him “Sorry I have to go meet someone” And walked fast away He followed me and I didn’t want him to know where I lived so I was in luck that there was a restaurant opened with lots of people and also people I know who worked there But after I go in I didn’t see the usual staff who workes here and I panicked again a little But I was so relieved after I was my chemistry teacher She sat with her friend and we’re eating pizza I go to her and explain the situation She got up, told me to stay with her friends and she will handle it She goes to the guy who also was in the restaurant and talked to him She said she would call the police and the guy said sure do it I will wait What of course he did not He run away At the the moment my body realise what was happening And I was shaking so hard and the teachers friend also tried to calm me down and want to give some of their pizza What I would had love to eat but was to shaking up Well the police came and questioned me and I described the man who followed me They drove me home and escorted me until my doorstep My mom open the door and was kinda shocked to see the police with me She first thought I did something but was still worried after hearing what happened to me Well the next day I thanked my teacher again and gave her lots of chocolate she liked I’m really thankful what she did for me Please stay safe guys and I hope no one has to suffer like that (Sorry for the bad English it’s not my fist language)
