the guy who sang lead in this song is Rob Lundquist(tenor), from Minnesota. The skinny guy sang 2nd lead is Austin Brown(high Tenor) he's from Georgia. The guy with the really deep voice is Tim Foust from Texas. He has a 5-octave range. The guy in the back with a cap on is Adam Chance from Alabama. He has a 4-octave range. Last but certainly not least is their beatboxer. & co-founder of the group Adam Rupp from Minnesota. And yes he is responsible for all those incredible drum sounds. He is called a freak of nature and does a beatboxing solo at almost all their live shows. #GHGMarchMadness I'd like you to hear your reaction to In the Blood, Auld Lang Syne and how great thou art.
Thanks for checking out Home Free. They are tagged country a capella, but they do not limit themselves at all. You will find a lot of upbeat and, sometimes funny, songs. Also, beautifully done, meaningful songs. You will get many suggestions, so I'll just look forward to more Home Free.
#GHGMarchMadness Man of Constant Sorrow, The Butts Remix, Everything Will be Okay and everything they sing! Can't wait until you decide that you are a Home Fry also. Thank you. ^_^
I see you picked up on that southern twang. They are a Country A Capella group, but they do so much more than just country. Although...they do put a little country twist to all of the covers they do. Tim ( the bass and long dark haired guy) is from Texas, The beatboxer Adam ( the clean cut guy in the back left hand side) is from Minnesota, as is Rob (Big-bearded guy) who sang lead tenor in this song. Austin (the tall skinny blonde haired guy) is their high tenor is from Tifton, Ga., and Chance (the guy right behind Austin) is their baritone/bass and comes from the deep south of Alabama. And yes, there's no denying that those three have that southern twang, big time. As for suggestions, I'd go with all of the ones the people have suggested below, especially Man Of Constant Sorrow. #GHGMarchMadness
I just found your channel and I cannot get over how you just light up a room when the song gets you excited!!! Such a beautiful smile! I love watching your reactions.
#ghgmarchmadness. Blue Ain't Your Color for some smooth Home Free. For fun, try Country Fried Pop, Butts Remix, or All About that Bass. You might also check up Rupp's beatbox solo video. Then, when you are ready to have all of the feels- try In The Blood and How Great Thou Art.
Play more Home Free and us Home Fries will come in droves :) and it is always the most fun to see a new Home Fry in the making. Tight harmonies, without the assist of any instruments. #GHGMarchMadness You have a large library of covers and original music to select from with these guys..and they never fail to amaze. Each of their music videos only shows another facet of their talents. "Man of Constant Sorrow" will give you an amazing harmonica simulation by their beat boxer, Adam and a Jews Harp sound from Chance, while showing more of Tims incredible bass. "Mayday" displays some of Tim's (the bass) higher notes, and Chance's lower range. "The Butt's Remix" is a mashup that shows some of their fun side... each vid of theirs is an adventure!
For covers, I recommend their cover of Love Train by the O'Jays and Blue Ain't Your Color. For originals, I think Timeless is incredible. It's an upbeat song with an amazing video. #GHGMarchMadness
This Home Fry just discovered your channel! Loved your genuine reaction! These guys are amazing in the studio and even better live!! I’ve got some catching up on your Home Free reaction vids!
#GHGMarchMadness you can not go wrong with anything that Home free has done whether it is an original like : California Country, Timeless or Champagne Taste, or with covers such as Ring of Fire, Some Girl Do, or Heaven......keep reacting to home free all you can ,thank you
Great reaction! I look forward to many more. There are already a lot of good suggestions below, pretty much every song is excellent, cover or original. Depending on the songs you choose you’ll see a different person singing baritone. Chris Rupp, brother of the beatboxer Adam Rupp, was also one of the founding members. He left in 2016 and was replaced by Adam Chance. Chris frequently wore a cowboy hat in most of the earlier videos.
I love these guys. If you want to hear the beatboxer sing, there's I can't outrun you and Helplessly Hoping as well. If you want to see them live, I'd probably go with 9 to 5 with the beatboxing breakdown, and Tim breaks the sound system. Their version of All About that bass is really cool, and kid friendly, too. Thanks for the react :)
Hi Steve! I eventually got a chance to watch their cover of Man of Constant Sorrow and was blown away! Watch it here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m9nPFECtAp8.html
@@GreenHairedGirlVlogs very cool you called me out by name, thank you. Since I've found these guys I've been on a personal mission to see them succeed as I've been blown away at what they can do. I'm so happy you're finding them as well. Thanks again for the shout out, you made my day! And I'm totally going to watch your reaction.
I was amazed at how well they did that soulful R&B style (which I love, especially for evening music). My favorite song is "I Swear" by All-4-One and I would pay Home Free money to cover that song. And welcome to the Home Fry Community/Madness/Utter Bliss.
@@jackmandu Oh, yeah - I totally did. I was dead pretty much the whole weekend. Good thing nobody was home when I found out or they'd be deaf from the excited noise I made.
I think you'd really like Blue Aint Your Color, and definitely Man of Constant Sorrow. Avi Kaplan (formerly of Pentatonix as bass) also did a cover with Home Free of Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash which was excellent. Edit: Hah, you already reacted to two of them, but I didn't see Blue Aint Your Color, so I guess that's my recommendation lol. I've got some catching up to do! Amazed you were able to make so many videos in such a short time, bravo!
Hey there! Ive just discovered your channel because of my following Home Free reaction vids! I very much enjoyed your reaction to this great rendition of this timeless song by Boyz 11 Men..............they are actually from Minnesota originally but u are correct in that they do alot of country music! Thanks again, you've gained a new fan lol! Take care and God Bless!! p.s...i think you are very lovely!! lol...take care!
They always go Acapella. Adam, the beat boxer, they say is not from this world. He's soooo good. Only Austin and Tim are Southerners I believe. I'll have to check on Chance. Adam and Rob are northerners. I love that southern twang myself!! 😍😘🤩
Lol your views are about to explode lol just sayin. Home free has over 227,000,000 visits on their RU-vid lol try their newest video ‘why does it have to be’ I also suggest watching their journey from the beginning on the sing off... They won season 4. All videos are available on RU-vid. I’ve also seen them live 3 weeks ago and honestly; best live show ever and they don’t gouge on their shows. It was 60 bucks a ticket tax included and they are even better live than in the videos. :) members are Tim Foust (bass/baritone), Austin Brown (high tenor), Rob Linquist (tenor), Adam Chance (bass/baritone) and last and anything BUT least is group founding member Adam Rupp (supremely talented beat boxer). Subscribed. Will watch for more videos.
#GHGMarchMadness Thanks for reacting to Home Free.. I think you would like "Thinking Out Loud/Lets Get it On" mash up and once you have seen their vocal ranges you would truly enjoy "Mayday" … and LMAO at djmaur.. so true! Philly Fry here..
Ok, so like lots of people have already told you, you will be getting a lot of recommendations for Home Free. My personal suggestions are that you react to their covers of 'Can't Stop This Feeling' or 'Thank God I'm A Country Boy' first. Then after you've seen a few of their songs, their cover of 'Mayday'. #GHGMarchMadness
LOve ur channel. Home Free is the absolute best!!! U might try "Mayday", "In the Blood", "Thinking Out Loud"; "Ring of Fire"; and a funny one is the "Butts Remix"
I wish Take 6 fans were as vocal as the fans of these guys. That's usually how talented people get recognized. It's a shame most of America doesn't know Take 6. And Home Free does sound great.
@@GreenHairedGirlVlogs Mary, Spread Love and A Quiet place. They are a gospel group but their a capella style and harmonies influenced Boys to Men as much as New Edition did.
Hi I just discovered you!You have a beautiful smile! #GHG March Madness...I am requesting Pentatonix new video "Come Along"+Avi Kaplans new song"Change on thr Rise"They are wonderful.I hope I havent run out of time.Thank you.Keep on with your wonderful work.Take care
#GHGMarchMadness I loved your reaction to this! I am in love with Home Free, but I would love if you reacted to their newest song It's A Great Day to be Alive cover by Travis Tritt
