And ....country can ALWAYS use voices like❤ Randy or ❤ Brad because they are that good!! I would still listen to Brad today and I do. He will always be amazing!! I wish his career had been longer..hey anyone can grow and come back anytime. Maybe...it wasn't what he wanted. Did anyone get to ask him? Randy made it back after not good choices..then a stroke. So anything is possible ❤❤❤❤
Brad Cotter was an amazing voice who killed the country scene when he won Nashville Star!!! Damn he is good and I think Willie thinks so, too!!!! The Warren Brothers loved him, and Gershon thought he was amazing...so did Nashville and 🇺🇸 too! Yes...so what he did sound a little like Randy Travis when he first started singing, BUT he is not Randy. Randy speaks and sings for himself..who also overcame his troubles as alot of other stars did, too! Maybe he got into foolishness but set that aside. I heard him once on the radio, and yes kept wondering what happened to him. He is not the only one who possibly messed his career up..but he sang perfection every time he got on stage! Then also I heard that he went on to sing more on the spiritual side..which he grew up doing. He is talented beyond belief and i knew he would win the 1st time I ever heard him sing. No matter what genre of music. So from Alabama which is where he is from, his home state backs him fully..still!!! True talent never dies as far as voices go. We all make not great choices at times, but his addition to country music will never be forgotten! Music period. So cut him some slack..I am not agreeing with maybe choices he made but I don't know for a fact. His mother passed away a year or 2 before N Star, and we don't ever know what folks go through in their everyday lives. Noone is perfect..but God forgives and so can we. Alot of people struggle with the pressure, feel like a failure, etc. So it's not our place to judge anyone. JMO❤
