That is the most impressive thing I have seen in skim boarding . Riding a 15 foot hollow wave at Puerto Escondido on a skimboard. That tube ride was awesome.

smart to be pulled into a 15' face of sand laced, very heavy, puerto escondido shore pound knowing it was a close-out - just to be eaten by it for I would guess about 45 - 1 minute.

This isn't the one he was nominated for. That was right after this one, and he backdoored it on a skim board. Shoulda won it in my opinion. Still the gnarliest thing I've ever seen, I don't care if he got towed out.
