Every person's best stroke is unique to them. The key is to pay attention and practice enough to find what is best for you. Over time I have shortened my stroke considerably. I am 69 years old. Today I walked 18 holes and had 23 putts-admittedly, it was an exceptional day...nevertheless, it is fun watching those 20-30 foot putts disappear into the cup.
I have tried that method on the putting green and it works like a charm… I have tried that putting stroke with three different putters(center-line shaft Berttinardi Ben Hogan Putter, a White-Ice ODYSSEY and SC 2014 SELECT face-balanced); I was able to execute that same stroke very well. It comes down to whether or not you are comfortable lining the ball to the heel of your respective putter…
Levi, Brad Faxon has never been underrated as a putter. His putting stats would place him as one of the best putters of all time. BTW, I like your golf swing.
