@@Александр-ф3н3ю "Общество мёртвых поэтов" (1989) - это фильм с Робином Уильямсом в роли харизматичного учителя, который вдохновляет своих учеников на любовь к поэзии и непокорность общественным нормам.
Probably a bit weird to compare those but, Crockett's Theme (Miami Vice) & Cannonball Run Theme is great, too! :) ... and yeah, Dead Poets Society Theme is nice tho, because it's ...searching for words... it sounds like it could be centuries old, but still it fits the movie just perfect, it's like reading a book is music - it is calming and down to earth.
Themes from: Miami Vice, Airwolf, Robocop, Beverly Hills Cop, Knight Rider; next: Runaway from James Bond by B. Conti, Planet Saakar from Thor Ragnarock, DooM games background instrumental songs (but only new extended full instrumental versions created years after game had premiere). Additionaly music from movie about catching and fighting with Androids starring H. Ford and R. (Hauer)? - first and second part. Soundtrack in genre of synthwave and Drive movie. Last movie made synthwave again popular music (±10 years ago). At end... music from 90s TV series about girl murdered and then police investigation in town named Twin Peaks.
First time seen Terminator in 1985, when I was 17. Last time I've seen Terminator... NEVER! STILL WATCHING! I've seen T1 at least 140 times... And still watching. Same for T2!
First time I've seen Terminator 2 was the day it hit cinemas. I've watched it with a friend, in the cinema in my street. There is this fight between the two Terminators at the end, where the T 1000 rams a metal rod through Arnie's chest and its 'light out' for him and, well, at least the timing was _perfect,_ the very moment you see how the light goes out for the T 800, the lights and the projector went out as well. Turned out that an excavator cut the power line to the cinema this very moment, so we left the cinema without seeing the end of the movie. The cinema gave everyone tickets for the next show possible and some snack coupons, so no problem, but at this moment, it was quite the bummer. Fortunately, no one else had seen the movie so far and could spoil the end for my buddy and me, _then_ I'd have been peeved.
@@alanzyoutube Watch it again. T2 is a dumb movie compared to 1. Also very dated from todays perspective. T1 is the true horror classic matching the mood of this great song. Arnold is better as bad guy and there is no stupid hasta-la-vista kid messing up.
@@mbgrafix Where T1 flirts with a 10/10, I think T2 is more like a 6,5/10. Decent, but nothing special. Especially as it lacks a scary antagonist (a metal blob is not scary), and it lacks a proper protagonist as 4 "pernonas" battle for that title. And I don't like a drugged Linda Hamilton with a sporting disorder. She's not fun to watch in T2. It also aged much worse than T1.
@@lovemadeinjapan Thank you for your reply. Though, actually, I fully understood your comment. As such, my comment was not a question, instead I was merely feigning ignorance as an ironic form of humor, to point out how your over-the-top passionate your disdain for T2 is. It is so obvious from your comment that it would be nearly impossible to be misunderstood. 😁
Such an iconic melody, with the relentless heartbeat of doom in the background. A composer can create a single tune like this in his life & die happy. Thanks for sharing.
Моя дочь расплакалась. Ей всего 14 лет. А она после музыкальной школы на рабочей станции не смогла сделать. Хотя тупой, как валенок, папа. Тыкал, носом. Который купил рабочую станцию Роланд
@@juzoffThen you didn't get this movie. Space Odyssey is a philosophical & cinematic masterpiece ! A movie about the evolution of human tools: from a simple stick (or bone) with that you can hit harder on your enemies to the super computer HAL 9000.
Also when I was born. I always thought Terminator was the real Apocalypse, and they chose 1984 cos of the book 1984 having a similar theme. I know you're gonna say I'm wrong, and don't know the history, but... F U, then.
На дворе 2024 год, фильму в этом году 40 (!!!) лет ... а от этой музыки и воспоминаний от просмотра до сих пор мурашки по коже. Все-таки Дмеймс Камерон настоящий гений от синематографа!
This man is class with the instruments he's got he plays this to perfection. What a masterpiece of work this was from the original creator Brad Friedel
Nothing could be better, than original theme from Terminator 2. 30+ years passed, but this movie is still one of the best, as well as many films with Arnold Schwarzenegger 💪
I own the expanded CD of Brads score that was released 20 odd years ago. And I’ve listened to it countless times. Your Version Kebu is simply wonderful. Keeps the spirit of the track completely intact whilst making it shine again..Gorgeous. 👍
Now we know why you are called the Kebunator! Sebastian, your extended arrangement is a substantial and classy treatment of this iconic theme. As always, your sound design is impeccable, the performance and dynamics are perfect, as are the quality of your recording, mixing and mastering. It is a superb way to close the album, and a memorable way to leave the audience waiting for Synthesiser Legends Volume 2 in a couple of years time. You'll be back! Super work, my friend! 🧡🎶🎹 🕶️👢👕👖🏍️ 👍
Beautiful! Highly emotional, and in my top 5 themes ever written! I believe Brad Fidel said that there was an error with the synths or a piece of his set up that counted the 4/4 time signature as 7/8, so that was a real Bob Ross happy accident! lol! Fabulous cover, absolutely beautiful emotional theme music!!!!! 😌😌😌
Thanks! In an interview I read he said he had a basic looping sequencer where you set the loop by pushing a button when you wanted it to loop. So it wasn't until later that he realized that the loop was in an odd time signature: 13/16! Still, the rhythm feels very natural.
This brings back so much. I love this topic. For me, Terminator 1 and 2 are the best films of each decade. Thank you Kebu for your interpretation. Your work is great as always.
Everybody says 1 & 2. I don't consider anyone a fan that says that, tho. Not saying you're just a 1 & 2 guy, just don't like hearing it. 4 is my fav. And, I love the war flashback in 6. Gonna ask AI to make a 90's cartoon one day.
Great Kebu! Greeting from Heidelberg Germany, to Finnland. I do the same Theme with a DX7 instead of a CS60 - because I dont have a CS 60 But but it sounds the same.
The sound design, the mixing, the performance, the editing, the whole video, the T-shirt... Everything is great, Kebu/Sebastian! 🥰🎉 What did I miss? Oh yeah! Your humility and the wink in the end. Beautiful, my friend!! 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
One of the first songs I learned to play by ear, with the chords and everything. Then I tried to sequence it all in my old Korg N-364, when I was 16, but that keyboard was great for digital acoustic simulation, not great for powerful analog sound. Although it had some great leads and synth brass that you could touch to make them more analog-like. I love this song.
Its amazing to think movie soundtracks can be more famous and more widely appreciated than actual so called pop artists music ......that says alot i think and this track was spot on for the movie there is no other film that this tune could ever be made for ........so for all the john connors .....hasta la vista
I'm no expert, but I understand the time signature is 13/16, which gives it a robot quality. And that hammer on the anvil - makes it sound entirely cyborg! Terrific stufffff.
Correct with the regards to the T1 movie. I remember watching something here on YT describing that time signature as being a technical error in the reel to reel tapes or something like that when they went to master the final recording. They changed the time signature for T2 onwards to something more “common” (or at least let’s say manageable). I believe that Time signature was 7/8.
For all those who say he's playing certain parts to fast or differently are either jealous because they would love to be able to play like this , And you possibly couldn't even find the On switches to half of this equipment. Kebu you are amazing , Gold🏅medal from Scotland .
well, his opening sound hasn't got the gloom of the original, the OST has a more industrial sound, plus him playing off-time sounds jarring vs OST, where the melody flows into the music infinitely better.
Struggling to decide which is best. This version, Hugo or Scott Ampleford's version. There all great in there own way. I can listen to this on Tidal though which is a bonus
This one was really good too but some end key notes on the melody came a little to quickly, really good and authentic though this one to but Hugo is still the " one " i think 😎🤟 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eIRQQjVYQ78.html
Wow Kebu! This performance of the Terminator theme was even better than what I heard in the movie theater when I first saw the movie! Outstanding! Will Ortiz
Was working while this was playing in the background - it immediately took me back to the old Terminator games and the sound with FM synth on a soundblaster card.
