Brad's a wonderful man. He fell in love with, and married, an actress named Kimberly Williams. They do tons of charity work. But all on the downlow. They want no recognition for it. And that, in my book, is true humanitarianism. No ego involved. Bless them both.
Brad has many upbeat and funny songs. Additionally, he is a brilliant guitar player. Probably, one of the top 3 guitar pickers in Country Music. "I'm Gonna Miss Her" and "Ticks" are funny. Are there Tics in Great Britain?
Everytime I hear this song I cry like a baby.i like when Allison came in and you said let's see what she has.and it's just more of the same.this is one of those songs if it comes on the radio i immediately change it
I will never apologize for a well-written beautifully presented tear-jerking country song. ,😞😀 And don't judge Brad Paisley yet. . His catalog is very broad and very unique. He has a funny side that I think you would enjoy. I strongly suggest you return to Brad Paisley ASAP. try "I'm gonna miss her" this one's tongue in cheek, has a cute video that features his wife who is an actress playing the role of his wife. It also features a few other country artists you may or may not recognize, , just hanging out with Brad in the video.
He had seen Kimberley Williams in The Father of the Bride, was impressed and asked her to be in his music video. Start of their romance, marriage and 2 sons. Great couple. They have a “shop” with. Free food for those who are in need - much like Bon Jovi.
Great suggestion, Jacob. It will likely go down as a future country classic. And Alison Krauss is one of my all time favorite country artists. Great reaction, guys, as always.
I checked. Brad Paisley didn't write the song. It was written by Bill Anderson and Jon Randall. So I can easily believe Paisley writes comedy songs. I like Alison Krauss with Robert Plant (albums "Raising Sand", and "Raising the Roof", you two reacted to their "Can't Let Go"). She's a talented 'fiddler', but plays viola on this. This was a movie in a song. Best Wishes, Chaps. ☮ I'll go watch a few Yoyoka videos and Sophia unpacking groceries on the @THECOOLEATS channel to cheer myself up.
Jacob, you picked an emotional one that's for certain. 😢 My thought process is that her betrayal was only the match that lit the bomb so to speak. The beginning on the video the background noises are of his memories of the war. She was probably what he held onto in his mind for the mostly likely years that he was gone. Everything together put him into a permanent tailspin. It's a tragic tale that I'm sure has played out millions of times all over the world, and not just for male soldiers. I know many of debated on whether or not his ghost should have forgiven her spirit or not. Perhaps he saw for years how much she tortured herself because of it. It doesn't by any stretch of the imagination excuse her fateful decision but perhaps in the afterlife portrayed in the video thimgs are seen from a different perspective. Yes, guys this is a song that is one that speaks to the emotional side of Country Music. There is a side that is 180 degrees different which are humorous as well. They both have more like this, emotiona Brad Paisley especially has funny ones as well.😂 Brad is also a very talented guitar player. If you want to try to the fuuny side of Brad. I'm Gonna Miss Her(his wife is in the video and it's hilarious 😂) Ticks Alcohol Online Celebrity I'm Still A Guy
Beautiful song but I can't say that I can listen to this again. They both have great voices and have extensive catalogues. Brad has quite a few funny songs (Alcohol) is one that I don't see anyone else has mentioned in the comments so I will add that as a possible try. If you want to check out Brad and Keith Urban's guitar licks (they are both outstanding guitarists, imo) give "Start a Band" a listen. Great as always my friends. Great request Jacob, it just makes me so sad...but unfortunately these days most of the things going on in this World make me feel even worse. I have to try to stay positive and upbeat as depression seems to be lurking around every corner. Peace and love to all.
Thank you for the reaction. I enjoyed it. If you like Allison Krauss, try catching a video with a live performance. Her band is Allison Krauss and Union Station. She plays the fiddle. There's one that's just instrumentals only called Choctaw Hayride.
This is not your typical Brad Paisley type of song… Most are upbeat! The soldier in this video is Rick Schröder… A child star from 1982+ on TV show Silver spoons. Keep listening to Brad… Enjoy “ the world;…”Little Moments”;…”I’m Gonna Miss Her”🤣…” He Didn’t Have to Be”; & “Celebrity”!! Nice reaction to this terribly sad song about betrayal. Allison has many great songs…
"She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger"... These lyrics! To drink like that, or other things, is same as suicide. Just a slow one. 😢 Hear some of his funny ones. He's got one.. something about going fishing, and his hat... funny af!
Cool facts. The bus driver wad old man the Brooks and Dunn video BELIEVE. Also the little girl at the end is the daughter of Rocky Schroeder who played the soldier and also directed
There's a mantra in good og country that country is 3 chords and the truth due to the storytelling.Brad has serious guitar chops and a funny side too.Dont separate the og videos from the country songs.Ad you noted they have a strong influence on each other.Check out his video start a band and Im gonna miss her.
Brad's videos will either make you bawl like a baby -or laugh hysterically. If you want to see his lighter side watch the videos for I'm Gonna Miss Her, Celebrity, Alcohol, and Ticks. He wrote a beautiful ballad for his wife - She's Everything. ALL worth checking out. I think you'd really like them all. But he does BOTH styles very well. Cheers from Canada! :)

Hey guys! Jim Hawkins’s daughter here 👋🏼 One of the saddest songs. Heard it a thousand times & still well up with tears every time I hear it. And Alison Kraus has the voice of an angel. Have you listened to her & Robert Plant’s collaborations? Surprisingly great!
@michellehawkins811 Hello to you Michelle and so lovely to meet you virtually. We love "Hawk" here on the channel and you must be very proud of your Dad. We do have a reaction coming out soon, of Teddy Swims that I believe you introduced your Dad to, so stay tuned. All the best for now and hope we hear from you often and thanks for supporting the channel. All the best BP2
@@BritPopsReact Hey guys! Lovely to meet you as well! I am so proud of my Dad. He’s my best friend & such a cool dude! And Teddy Swims, yes!! That’s exciting 😀 I’ll be looking out for that. Cheers guys!
Send a text. This is WW2 1939 to 1945, they didn't have texts, they had nothing except telegrams for the dead and missing, and they were few and far between, as you should know as you're British, they were away for years, and the only way anyone knew they were alive is when they come home... As happened here.
I heard this same song only a few days ago by completely different singers...my mind has gone blank as to who it was now...but yeah it's one of those "have to be in the mood" kinda songs I tend to stay FAR away from really. LoL
If we could only learn earlier in life about consequences of our actions. She so regretted her choice at that time. Live life as if every moment could become public, as it can now in society. Killed 2 with 1 bullet, so sad.
This is a better new country song. But, if you want REAL COUNTRY listen to Marty Robbins. Start with his trilogy El Paso, Feleena, and El Paso City. The real stuff
@patwelch8187 😂😂 That's what we though. You can have entirely a different opinion and that is fine by us. We won't even call you a jacka$$, we were raised better than that. All the best
