😂one of the most hilarious movies I've ever seen; had no idea what to expect. then, ten minutes into it I was like HOLY SHIT! watched it three times so far, and I never watch a movie more than once. well, not true, I've watched Bottle Rocket and Reservoir Dogs twice.😅
Damn I was born the year this came out and I’ve never seen it looks like an absolute lovely little film but it’s not available for me to watch on any streaming sites I currently have a subscription for damn shame it is damn shame
I worked in the scrap metal industry for 30 years and dealt with a significant number of travelling folk. Brad Pitt is the only actor I have ever seen who nailed the voice and mannerisms. The funny bit is I can understand every word he says. A fantastic actor.

I'm Gypsy and we are clean, live in houses and have jobs. Pikeys live in plastic sheds and steal for a living. I have photos of me as a child with my grandfather in Ireland and Eastern Europe. In his own original caravan built in 1877. With a pit fire and spit with entire pig on it. There are 74 people in the photo, each one of them came from one woman, the head of the house, my Grandmother. We modernised just like we always have. We aren't and have never been archaic. Pikeys like depicted in this film are runts. None of them can trace their family back to Eastern Europe where Gypsys are actually from!! It's also said that we Gypsys are cursed because it was Gypsys who owned and worked in the iron works and we made the nails for Jesus's cross. Educate yourself before posting insulting videos that are racist and bigoted towards a marginalised group of society!!
I remember loving this movie, but not understanding a single fuckin word of the Pikey's. Then my friends and I went through the special features on the DVD and found the "Pikey says what?" feature that subtitled ONLY the Pikey's. It was a game changer
I'm iriah and grew up with travellers and I was so impressed with his accent in this film, he even used a few phrases that some travellers use to confuse.
I got a cousin who grew up and lives in Florida and I'm up here in Philly and when we talk to each other on the phone he basically speaks like Brad Pitt in this movie. I cant understand a word his says. Florida has a weird slang.
I thought it was gibberish until an Irish friend of mine told me how spot on his pikey accent was. His Jamaican accent is trash, but this one is apparently really good.
