what has the hose go to do with the engine nothing i have done the same heater hose they could of just turn of the heater taps off not make out be a big drama oh that's right its TV

Worried about cooking the engine,patching $6 hose,keep a eye on temp gauge, carry spare hoses i think your all bling.

These new engines shouldn't let you cook 'em if they get too hot. The ECM should give an engine warning ight before it gets too bad so the driver can shut her down. No spare hoses and belts though...really?

Um even with engine lights etc you still can cook an engine, part of this "no parts" would have been for tv, but the fact is by the time the ECM throws a light, in an engine such as that, it's kinda too late. All the light is, is so you don't stuff it up all too completely. But anytime an engine goes with out adequate cooling, you are causing serious damage to the internal make up and structure of the engine. The RPMs and the burning of fuel involved I wouldn't trust the ECM.
