Braided Peach Cobbler Puff Pastry
Peach Mixture:
2-cans peaches
1- Puff Pastry Sleeve
1/3 C White Sugar
1/3 C Brown Sugar
Your preference on Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Cinnadust seasoning.
1-Capful Vanilla Extract
A few squeezes of lemon juice
Cook your peaches 8-10 minutes with the above ingredients. Combine peach juice with a few tablespoons of flour. Mix until thick, pour back into cooked peaches. Let cook for 2-3 mins until mix is thick.
Roll out puff pastry, being sure not to crack. If cracked, use water on fingers to press and reseal. Add cooked peaches to middle of puff pastry.
Cut slits alongside each side of the pastry, then fold over peach mixture in a braided pattern. Once braided pattern is done, brush with egg wash and bake on 350 for 35 mins. Optional, sprinkle with cinnadust od cinnamon and sugar.
Lemon Glaze: I didnt measure but its powdered sugar, lemon juice and a splash of vanilla. Combine, and stir until desired thickness.
Once pastry is cool, drizzle glaze over pastry, slice, serve and enjoy!
