I alway hear braids break off hair but I'm curious if most are taking care of them? I have been wearing box braids for 6 years. My hair is so thick and almost waist length. I seriously want to know why ya'lls hair is suffering.
Your hair still looks good though but I understand what you said about braids and trims I know I have to be more on top about my trims for me myself while I do love braids they never really worked for me as a protective style even when I kept them up
I was thinking of getting braids this spring Gods willing.. What do you think caused the breakage? I'm worried because you were doing the braids yourself and I would trust you more than a braiding stylist.
It was a combination of me not being consistent with trims and braids. No need for you to be worried though 🙂 I think my hair was just becoming weak from constantly keeping it braided. I had it in braids for almost 2 years straight!
@@JussErin oh okay I see. Sometimes I feel cornrows break my hair especially if it was braided too tight. I was even thinking to do the Senegalese twist for less manipulation compared to the braids.. still deciding. But your hair looks really good now I love layers!
