Looking back, who would've guessed this is Supergirl here lol? We all thought it was Zod with that kneel thing she said lol. It's funny how they had all of us fooled there.
I still think its Zod. Braniack wants a perfect empeir. A planet wich closes your portals and destroyes your ships is high on the kill/conquer list. Zod most liely woudnt really care for it so i bet Braniack did something to em, maby well get zod out ff the phantom zone later?
I did and I was shocked, am bummed it wasn't Zod at first but imo I do love Supergirl's disguise that Brainiac gave her tho'. Kinda almost gives me the vibes of a Digimon monster or another Mecha/Robot-type of character lol.
The brilliance of this scene. It wasn’t the lackey informing his boss. But the boss informing the lackey. Plus it being Supergirl instead of Zod is a really wild Superman and Lois thing.
@jurassickaiju14 Yeah, that's what I'm actually hoping. I think he might backstab this guy for his own purposes. Also, I predict that that's just an armour. He's still a green alien guy beneath it.
@@maxkeegan9183 Considering the implications that this Brainiac is a Kryptonian AI like in The Animated series, I'm betting more that he's got a full robotic body instead of the green skinned humanoid form. Wouldn't be the first time, in either adaptations or in comic storylines, and honestly I'm okay with that. I'm kinda digging the more alien look they're teasing here with him.
@@jurassickaiju14 maybe to survive krypton's destruction zod & others put their consciousnesses into robot bodies or if its just armour brainiac could be pretending to be kryptonian or could be from a world krypton conquered & rose up through the ranks.
With the voice credits saying the “kryptonian warrior” (the one who said the “kneel” line) is voiced by Kari Wahlgren and noticing that the chest crest looks like how Jor-El’s S-symbol is drawn in the show, it might not be General Zod and instead is the simulation of Lara-El that Brainiac created (as revealed in concept art/production material that was release/leaked last year).
@@alihmaulaakmal the concept art? Well since I can’t put links in a RU-vid comment without it being auto-hidden, I can only direct you to do a Google Image search of my adventures with superman concept art and it should be in the first page results.
I love how Brainiac looks. He looks so intimidating yet cool. Also, since it was later revealed “Zod” was Kara. I wonder if she’ll have a Belos like relationship with Brainiac. Either way, I’m excited to see how much of a monster he is.
@@abdelarch8038 A relationship dynamic like that between the characters Belos and Hunter from the show Owl House. (EXTREMELY F'D UP Parent-Child dynamic)
Well, here is my roaster of other villains i want to see next season: Metallo, Lex Luthor and Doomsday. With a timeskip for a few years to mature our favorite trio and we can to meet the other super heroes.
Well the Ivo's assistant is redhead(Lex original hair was Redhead),had a pretty "Luthor speech" against Louis , get some screen time on the last episodes and his name is Alex. Lex is abbreviation for Alexander Luthor so many fans are already theorizing that Ivo's assistant is Lex
@@aldiascholarofthefirstsin1051The name Metallo was used for robotic drones created by John Henry Irons that were appropriated by Lexcorp when they acquired his former employer Amertek.
They were really clever here. Brainiac comes off as a disinterested advisor, and Kara's Evangelion-esque battle armor both disguises and dehumanizes her.
Why is everyone saying that's Kara? That's not Kara. Kara invaded planets because she thought conquest was good not just for the empire but the planets they invaded.
I don’t know what’s more terrifying The fact that was not Zod but it was actually Supergirl, or the fact that Brainiac made his debut and was a far bigger threat than the other villains in the series
The thing im thinking about coming back to this after season 2 is... They arent conquering that planet...they are eviscerating it. Those scream are the final sounds of that entire species... That is haunting.
General Zod is so going down. Yeah Only Superman can stop Zod and Brainiac. The General wanted to rule Krypton with an iron fist, but his plan cosmic dust. He found a suitable new world for himself and his buds. Earth.
Really curious if Quazimoto Zod is actually Zod or some other character considering his odd proportions but maybe that’s some side effect of who knows what.
I can't help but feel they pulled an early series RvB with Tex having a voice filter until it got broken and revealed the female voice only in this case it was Supergirl with the misleading armor and brainwashing. I bring up the brainwashing because the Omega Fragment could control preople to a degree back in RvB series.
Honestly i've been having a lot of fun with the different designs. Brainiacs in particular looks really damn cool here. The animated series certainly took liberties with a lot of the character looks back in the day
You mean Darkseid? I like him but I've always felt like the New Gods should be their own thing, Superman is definitely connected to them (Darkseid first appeared in Jimmy Olsen's comic after all) but making them just a bunch of Superman villains is selling them short
If I had to guess Zod was with Brainiac and thought Jor-El’s idea of peace was a weakness a backward philosophy of saying “Peace is for the weak”. So Zod was with Braniniac to destroy Krypton and start over in his image but somehow his body must’ve been damaged beyond repair so he was given cybernetics to keep him alive. So and I’m going on a limb here, he goes to earth finds Clark and Lara and tries to conquer the planet earth but fails and his cyber body is failing and his life support is loosing power if anything his batteries are running low. So he does the unthinkable clone himself a body and down load his mind into it.
But why zod and brainiac working together it weird or is brainiac using zod or zod is using brainiac. What did jor-el do in this universe to the both of them
I hope that isn't Zod. I am fed up with Zod popping up in every Superman related adaptation. He is overexposed and overrated. The only version I like is Superman 2 (mostly because of Terrence Stamp). And I hate to complain more, but I do not like the look of Braniac. It just looks bland, just like most of the villains on the show! Do the creators not like distinct designs and costumes for the villains?
Yeah, I like Zod, but he should be a villain you build up to. Honestly, I’m thinking this guy is either Jor-El, or maybe another evil kryptonian. I feel like Zod would be a villain you build up to, like how Avatar built up Ozai before revieling him.
@@dylantennant6594they could pull a young justice or Krypton and Have the main Zod threat not be Dru zod but one of his forefathers or descendants. They are acquainted with their twists.
While it's not the best design, it at least looks better than his green alien appearance. At least to me. His voice though is very calm, cold and calculating and it fits him perfectly well. I do feel the design is a bit okay but I also hope that they might change the design in the future.
