2:20 Its preferable to use a greese gun to remove the piston. Greese is non-compressible, so the piston just sort of slips out, instead of popping out like a cannonball. Much safer that compressed air, or messing about with brake fluid. Though also requires some cleanup.
Cleanespd my grooves with vinegar 14 hours n salt.... Then I used a hair pin and went around in a circle and got all the rust out of the grooves before installing the importance
Hi, do we have to pump the break first so the piston pushes against the pad and then crack the bleeder valve or can we just do it how you have, ie let the fluid trickle into the caliper and just bleed? I'm confused cos on another video the guy pumped the pedal first and then cracked the bleeder. Thanks
@@autodocuk hey thanks for replying! So just to confirm, after installation, we pump the pedal till firm, crack the bleeder valve so that there's a steady trickle of fluid and then close and bleed as normal? Is that correct?
