They look that way for almost entirely 4 reasons in order of importance: 1) Very very good genetics at least 2) Years or decades spent training hard (not remotely optimally) 3) Years or decades spent eating A LOT of food and protein (not even remotely optimally) 4) Anywhere from a little to a lot of drugs

Don't let the arm chair experts fool ya yes his movements are more explosive then others but still controlled for the most part

When he's often using a load far above what he should be handling, the weight moves slowly because all heavy weight must move slowly. And this isn't even mentioning that he actively avoids full ROM and then have all these people saying he trained the hardest and is workouts were the hardest. Do you know how hard full ROM, with proper technique, significantly slowing the eccentric down, is? And the amount of stimulus to the TARGET muscle that brings vs the proportionally lower fatigue it generates?

People may be talking shit about his "technique" because that's valid. You're absolutely right most do not put that level of passion, anger, and emotion into training but doing so doesn't mean optimal training. Leave optimal training/progression to someone who isnt in the gym for pure pain and to let raw emotion out while lifting weights

Garbage Technique/form. He never uses a full ROM, but he also uses alot of momentum. If he's hasn't had some serious tears/injuries I'd be surprised. To all of you young guys watching this guy Train, DO NOT try to emulate his form/cadence/tempo reps, it is a very inefficient and hazardous way of lifting that will inevitably catch up with you
