That leg extension machine is legendary. I recall that same unit from early 2000s videos. The rust on it probably adds 50lbs of resistance!

Recently visited Metroflex for the first time.Just being in the same space where workouts like this take place made me feel hard-core even if I can't scratch the surface of what JJ and BW are up to here! Will be visiting again in February 2024.Making gains just thinking about it!

You can tell when they don’t train together. Neither seems motivated or interested in the gym but dam when they get together , it’s like a light switch goes off, they know they need each other more then ever right now , it’s just not the same if they aren’t in metroplex together,

Them box squats are a great idea, just don’t drop too hard and smash the coccyx bone, you’ll be sat on an inflated donut for months

They are great athletes, they choose bodybuilding but they could be very well in other sports like soccer, fights, basketball gymnattics etc....their strenght speed endurance and agility is very rare in guys with their weight

These guys are old school I like them .but I don’t have to agree with everything they do .and this leg workout is one of them .not going in the bucket is short changing the quads and hard on the knees .and all that slinging can injure you in a heart beat especially the ham Strings

Im almost 53 and use that same squatmachine . 7 plates on each side for reps. Ass to the grass. Its safer for me, less to worry about like my core and balance. I call it the senior squatmachine lol

How can you not love this....Sure theres zero hypertrophy going on at their age training like this but God Damn their Central nervous system is taking a beating. They are doing mankind a service with this type of training at their age just to see if it kills them or not. Because it's certainly no longer building muscle. And thats ok. Maintaining at their age is all someone can ask for. But damn or they killing themselves just trying to hold on....Love em both.
