100% agreed!!!! My 2023 is my favorite bike/machine I’ve ever owned, especially out of everything brand new I’ve had over the years and other bikes I’ve ridden. I feel that it is the best bike you could buy out of the dealer out of all the manufacturers, Kawi killed it with the SR. I trail ride mine as well and it handles it better then my 2022 KX450. I put a cooling fan and all the stuff you need for off-road on it though but it is a freaking weapon anywhere lol. I couldn’t believe the difference from my 2022 KX450 to this 23 KX450SR lol 😂

Thanks for watching everyone! Drop me a comment with any video requests or input, like, and subscribe to the channel to be a part of the community and help it grow into a more professional channel as this isn’t my job and it’s all on my dime/free time. I get zero payments or sponsorship and that “Paid Promotion” only appears at the start of my videos because of name brand products obviously in all of my content so I have to show that either way and if I do get monetized in the future that has to be shown at the beginning of all the video’s that are eligible for ads before ads are placed. I select the paid promotion bar to appear so I don’t have to go back and do it later and can avoid any strikes or issues with YT so I just want to be clear on that. I am not paid to ride and everything you see, I actually paid for/acquired/or built myself so my impressions and opinions are genuine and not influenced by anything other then my 30 years of riding background to come up with my opinion about anything to do with riding, different machines, and testing different parts on this channel and that’s it. You get real, raw, honest content here and I will tell you exactly how it really is with no outside influences or limitations! Anyways Thank you for all the support and views my fellow OFFROAD-REVOLUTION community members, I appreciate it all more then you will ever know and would love to start paying it back to my subscribers here if the channel makes it to 1000 subs in order to get monetization I can use for improving my film/editing quality and to be able to start some giveaways, etc for my subscribers, it’s free to subscribe takes one click and I don’t ask for money/anything , I’m passionate about this sport and all things powersports/action sports, riding has always been a HUGE part of my life and I put in a massive amount of time and dedication to it and strive to ride as much as I possibly can since I first started 30 years ago.. I enjoy sharing my passion here on RU-vid so as long as people continue to watch the content it’s worth it for me and hope I’m able to help a few people out and maybe get more middle aged men and the small percentage of women that watch my content inspired to keep going and ride on because if your not doing what you love your wasting your time, so please stay inspired and keep on riding everyone!!! Peace ✌️ ❤

It only gets better with time too, I can tell you that from experience 100% and have heard of others having the same experience. It’s mind blowing out of the dealership but once you put 10-20 hours on the thing it’s safe to say that all of the working parts are broken in, I didn’t think it could get any better then this first rip so that was a nice surprise later on. On these bikes they say the suspension needs at least 10 hours at the least of run time or more before the rear shock and front forks break in, 100 miles on the tires before HARD acceleration, the engines have several heat cycles done to them and thoroughly checked over at the dealer etc before they leave so they are pretty much ready to go but I basically waited until the bike had 15 hours on it, did oil/filter change and then started riding it harder after that. Some people told me the bike would be anemic if I babied it and basically was saying that I had to ride it on the rev limiter the whole time from the very first ride or the bike would somehow magically lose horsepower because I took time to do a break in period on the brand new engine… Ive seen the complaints from people that have grenaded the bottom end in their KX450 in like two hours racing the bikes fresh off the showroom and both of mine are still like new with absolutely zero problems so maybe the break in isn’t that bad of an idea 💡? I know several people with the newer gen KX’s and all have been great bikes so blowing them up isn’t that common. I basically waited until I got the suspension/rest of the bike broken and took it easy for the most part on the motor until that was done at about 15 hours like I said and the bike is way more powerful then I thought it was going to be now, runs strong as hell, and for a 450 my SR basically does not make any weird noises at all while idling from the engine and is just super smooth. I was expecting it to be like most other 450’s and sound like it’s shaking itself apart basically just idling but this thing is unbelievably smooth! I also have a heavily modded 2022 KX450 you see videos of on the channel that I had been riding for a whole year before I got this bike so it genuinely shocked me and my initial reactions are 100% real in this video. The engine in my 2022 is nowhere near as smooth and makes some noise like you’d expect, I thought the SR would be worse with the increase in performance but not the case. This was my actual first ride ever on a KX450SR and the difference between it and my 2022 with a Vortex, PC pipe, etc to get the most out of the 22 was unbelievable… I have more money tied up in the 22’ including the price of the bike plus parts then I have in the SR that’s my new main bike so I should have waited and just got the SR to begin with. My recommendation would be if you have any opportunity at all to purchase one of these bikes just GET IT! You’ll never get the same engine characteristics out of the base 450 without tearing the engine apart and spending a lot of money, a Pro Circuit Ti-6 Pro Series full exhaust system for an SR isn’t cheap and it’s custom sized for this bike to get the performance, then the ECU would have to be tuned or a vortex added with the SR tune’s basically and at that point your already spending more then the SR MSRP value and fees to get it out the door so I learned the hard way. Anyways sorry for the long reply but the info is here if you need it because I’ve seen a lot of misinformation out there about the bikes and also people buying a vortex, PC pipe, and maybe some monster graphics, slapping that on a base KX450 and then calling it an SR and that’s just not the case… I’ve been there and done that, the. bought the real SR and found out so hopefully this answers questions other people may have had as well, thanks for the comments and I hope your able to swing a leg over one of these of your own soon! I’m at the point now where the bike is 100% broken in and ready to go, got my suspension settings dialed in for motocross after that and have put in a lot of time testing to where I have the bike figured out so I’ll be riding on a few different tracks this coming season and have been really wanting to start racing again so I can’t wait until winter is over lol 😂. The suspension is amazing on this bike but it needs tuned to get it perfect, out of the factory on the stock settings it’s not balanced and the rear end will more then likely buck you a lot when pushing it hard like it wants to do front flips FYI. I followed all of Motocross Action Magazines suspension setting recommendations front and rear on my bike and that actually turned out to be perfect so it was easy to set and now it’s planted all the time and no random pogoing from the rear shock and that = confidence and riding faster. I can’t believe Kawasaki sets them up the way they do so test the waters with the rear end and feel out that shock or it can cause a crash. I also went to a 240mm rear brake rotor because the stock rear brakes are ridiculous!! With the 250mm it just locks up the rear tire INSTANTLY and it’s not possible to slip the rear brake at all! I tipped this bike over ONCE and it was literally because of the stupid rear brakes when I was setting myself up for a flat turn… Everything was going perfect and then the bike slid out from under me with the rear tire skidding. It almost happened to me like twice before that and I had to dab and then the third time it slid out so fast there was no stopping so I swapped out the rotor after that and the brakes lock up just as hard yet you can slip them when needed instead of just ON/OFF… After a couple tweaks this bike is an absolute weapon and just as fun to ride as my CR500AF. Also for the break ins, the procedure’s are printed right in the manuals for EVERYTHING including the motor so that’s another reason I used common sense and let the bike break itself in fully before I break something prematurely being impatient… a COMPLETE top end is $4-$6k for the SR from Kawasaki, I had it all quoted out for my 2022 at one point thinking I could make it a real SR but that’s way more then I’m willing to put in that bike and was why I got this 2023. Didn’t make sense to spend all the money trying to make one when the dealer had an SR sitting there and I can sell my 22’ at some point to recoup some. I haven’t even ridden the 22’ since probably two days after I got the new bike lol. 😂

No sir, I have been riding for 30 years exactly. I started riding at 4 years old on a Honda ATC110 Three Wheeler with no suspension 😂. My dad told me if I can master that I can ride anything and that more or less was correct, I was on a 1996 300ex at 6 years old and dedicated all my free time to getting better. I ended up having a dirt bike, quad, and three wheeler all at the same time when I was young so I didn’t stick to one machine. I put time in on everything to help shape me into the Vet that I am today. I raced 450cc MX as well on a Can Am DS450xMx for a few years before my son was born and riding in general has been my life forever, I live for it! I’m not 18 anymore and have acquired a level of patience so with the brand new bike nowadays I actually do the break in process and take it somewhat easy until it is broken fully. Plus I have neighbors beside me and hearing a 450 off the pipe non-stop upsets them apparently so I have to hold back on my property so I can ride longer then 2 minutes without people getting rubbed the wrong way… You have to maintain respect for other people in this day and age with very little places to go compared to what there used to be or it just ruins things for people with common sense just trying to get from one trail to the next. If I went full bore around my property for longer then 10 minutes I would have 2 if not 3 different people calling the cops on me for riding my bike on my own land… I’ve had one officer stop at my place to tell me about the neighbors blowing up the phone calling in about me riding and he was super cool and just said, “ I really don’t want to be here right now (because it was a waste of time) but we got several calls so that left me with no choice other then to at least make an appearance at my place to please the neighbors that called them. Then he explained that I wasn’t doing anything wrong, some of my neighbors moved here from a gated community with very strict ordinances and rules, no riding or loud sounds, etc and then try to pressure me into acting like the neighborhood has the same rules as the gated community so it’s a problem with them, not me.. In rural areas it’s normal for people to ride, etc as much as they want without worrying about Karen neighbors but unfortunately I am lucky enough to have a few of them around me that hate seeing other people enjoy themselves.
