Introduced this march of 2024 the unique Timeless Razor Slant safety razor. This is a whole different approach and designing a slant razor that can have the timeless razor stamped on it. This is a mild slant razor and I used both. the Personna Comfort coat and AccuForge double edge razor blades. It has a unique feel that is not aggressive for my sensitive neck area. I just started a week ago and I've already got three razors. I like this one too so it's about to be four :) Just turned 55 and been shaving with plastic since I was 16. Didn't know there were alternatives. :(

SUPER COOL. Man, you got me going with this and I am eternally grateful. my Rockwell 6C just rocks, and your advice is thorough and reasoned. Just received this razor yesterday and used it this morning. What a great slant razor. Very mild. I got a great shave and once I get use to the lightweight difference from my stainless steel razors, I bet my shaves will get even better. Just like you, I never thought I would find a slant that was comfortable. This might even work for a beginner. Have a great weekend. 👍👍👍

Awesome shave, David! I might have to look into their bronze razors a bit and do some more research on whether to get the Solid Bar or Open Comb. Not too much of an aluminum person (despite me liking the Henson, but I use a different handle with that), so I think going a step up would be better. Great quality razors. I'm just still into blade and soap testing at the moment (with another razor coming the next few days) so maybe when everything calms down, I'll be able to pick up a Timeless. Thanks again!

Started wet shaving a week ago. Been eyeballing DE's since I started seeing Van Der Hagen in the stores. Finally bought one and I was hooked. I'm 55 and been using plastic since I was 16. Never did like shaving, but now I'm loving it. Saw your video on the Henson last week and ordered one using your promo code. Also ordered a Leaf Twig. Can't believe I've been missing out on this all these years oh and this morning I used my first alum block....OMG...game changer! Going to have to get one of these Slants....I like a mild shave. Picked up a variety pack of blades and so far I'm digging the Perma-Sharps. #ohioshavestimeless

First time shaving with this razor yesterday morning and it was outstanding! It took down two days of growth by 90%+ on the first pass. If I wasn't going for a smooth face, I would have stopped right there. It's also by far the mildest razor I have used. There's zero blade feel. I would have to intentionally press hard to try and nick myself. Some may prefer more feedback, but for those who just want an effortless daily shave, then this is the razor for them. Better than a Henson. Simply amazing!

It is a Rock Star! I had a great shave with it. Stirling soap. 30mm Yaqi G7 brush. Astra Russian blade. I was going to use a Feather but decided on a mid level blade instead. Excellent Razor. It needs regular use in my shave den. Gonna be testing all blades and see whats best. I think it will shave well with about any blade. Mild, Comfortable, and effective.

Used a Bic Chrome Platinum last night. Excellent results. More blade feel for sure but still very smooth. Used PAA soap and a 28mm AP Shave Co brush synthetic G5C

Used a Wilkinson Sword Gillette Saloon Pack last night. It doesn't matter the blade. It cuts and it cuts smoothly and efficient with every blade I've tried. Going to Feather tonight and expect the same results.

The best slant I’ve used is the new Rex sentry it’s really nice and works well for me you should try it out. I have never used the slant razor in this video though.

The one thing I'll give them points for on their ALSB45 razor...working with or without the washer. It definitely bucks the trend where if a razor comes with the washer it won't work without it. I think these two razors show one important thing, you can have a mild razor with the efficiency of those one would classify as aggressive. Honestly both look like they would make perfect daily drivers and one pass razors at that with the right blade. You also have to tip your hat to them for this, their AL razor, even with a stand, comes in at a more affordable price point than most. Good video.

@@OhioShavesI went ahead and got that ALSB45 today. Couldn't pull the trigger on the slant, but that AL with the scalloped head just spoke to me. Also finally getting some Shannon's. I have yet to see anyone have a bad lather with it (and I more or less do the same face lather technique as you as it works for me best) and their price point is amazing.

Hi David. I bought the Leaf Razor and Thorn for head and face shaves respectively because of your past recommendations. And been enjoying learning to use them. I also have a Yates Winning razor being made now and should have that by April sometime. #OhioShavesTimeless. Really like your videos and commentary. I’m 73 and just came back to double edge blade wet shaving from years of electric foil shaving. Your videos greatly influenced my decision to move back to wet shaving. Today’s double edge razors and blades have come a long way from when I tried them in my youth. Great review on this nice razor and reloadable brush.

@@OhioShaves Just got it in the mail today, might be the best aluminum razor. The package was so light I almost didn't see the razor stand, thought they forgot to send it lol. With a fresh BIC blade, hot knife in butter smooth. Right off the bat zero effort to cut whiskers. Do need to keep the washer with it?

Another great vid. Love when you change blades during the shave, kind of gives us a two for one review. Never tried a slant. What are supposed benefits to it? Also, how would you compare the build and quality of the Timeless to a Yates?

It's a little more precise just from the machinery they use. The wire EDM is laser cut, and it doesn't get any more precise than that.

Went from the Philips one blade (cause of the sensitive skin) to wet shave a few years ago and never looked back! Wet shaving is almost like a new hobby! Would love to try this razor from timelessrazor! My go to razors today is the Feather AS-D2, Merkur Futur and the Merkur Progress with the Astra blades, as ive got very sensitive skin! Using the Stirling Company shaving soap (Barbershop) along with their afterbalm (Mountain Man). Love your videos, keep up the good work! #OhioShavesTimeless

Would you say that the Timeless is better or the same as Henson AL13 razor. I have the Henson AL13 and I love that razor. I really love the look of the Timeless aluminum safety razor. I use to be a welder in the navy, so I know metals. With the look of that razor some people might mistake it for stainless because it looks that good.

I'm not sure if it's better than a Henson. I get some really good shave out of my Henson Razors. It's really hard to Nick myself and I get perfect shaves from using it. Timeless has a unique feeling especially in their higher end safety Razors. But like you said the precision is, something no one else is doing in this industry

Great shave as always! I've realized that I like aluminum razors after having used my Henson vs my Rockwell 6c and Edwin Jagger DE89. Lighter razors are easier to maneuver around the chin and jaw line, and produce a better shave for me. #OhioShavesTimeless

Not sure I'm ready for a slant razor just yet (new to this DE shaving game) but I am enjoying the idea of swapping blades to fine tune a given razor's performance. Time to order up some sample packs and get some experience under my belt! #OhioShavesTimeless

Did you move away from using pre shave oils? If so, why? I've been using pre shave oil based on your videos and so far enjoy them.

#OhioShavesTimeless I'm a subscriber because of your great content. Recently got several used safety razors. One that I really like is a Gillette Tech. It's old, but it's simple and the compact head can give me a good shave under the nose. If you run out of content maybe do shaves with new artisan shaving soaps. There are a lot of good ones. Your video making is quality stuff. There's close ups when needed, there's ASMR, good intro, encouraging newbies, etc. To me your in the top 5 of shaving content channels.

This looks like such an awesome razor! I use the Parker slant every other day for my head and it goes so smooth, but I've often wondered how a blade neutral slant razor would do on my face and neck. This might be worth the pickup, but we'll see how the giveaway fares first! #OhioShavesTimeless
