Yea I was about to say. All the negativity around Ubisoft but the physics and weather look awesome. Really fun to see some of the climbing and stealth mechanics too. I’m optimistic for this game
I really feel bad for Ubisoft because their games are just oozing with potential and they are right there !! But they always decide to settle for the bare minimum when it comes to animations of characters and npcs which is something in common throughout their games … what a shame
Hard to feel bad for them when it's their decision to cheap out on genuine important updates to their biggest franchises. They can make a pretty world but that's about it now. They refuse to leave 2012 behind
I agree with definitely, they realized that they can make money anyway even if their games are half assed so why bother and fully polish the game and spend more money when we can give the consumers the bare minimum and get away with it

Yasuke's helmet. The big macho man ties a ribbon knot. The way the strings are tied is the same as the ornaments and pretty dolls. Every time Yasuke is close-up, I can't stop laughing.
Yasuke's strange armour is also of interest, but how does Naoe pull out a sword facing the other way? Is it because she is a ninja that she can disengage her joints at will?
@@tommasoprevedello7593 Try finding a stick in your house that is a similar length to the sword and see if you can do the same movement without hitting the back of your head. It's an interesting experiment. In this case, you must draw the sword using only your arm's length. If Naoe is right-handed, it is best to draw the sword from the left shoulder. In this case, you can use the arm's length + the width of your body, which gives you more room for movement. When you put the sword back into the sheath, you can hold the sheath in place with your left hand.

While I appreciate their efforts, I feel they need to elevate their work because I haven't noticed significant graphical improvements in their recent titles. It seems like they're playing it safe, and as a longtime Assassin's Creed fan, I remember how the series thrived when they took more risks in the earlier games.

It bothers me a bit that everything they show is always "still work in progress". I was at gamescom they showed us the same gameplay everyone already saw, and they had to tell us like 5 times "keep in mind it is still work in progress". Like they want to justify all the bugs that could occur. Which i somehow understand, but on the other hand, this should mean we should not come across any bug when the game is out? I doubt it.. 2 months before release but they cant show us something finished? Idk i have my doubts with this Ubisoft strategy. (And ubisoft in general)
I worked in the game industry and now for movies, and parts can be finished before the game is released.. There is a reason why almost no gameplay video of other games show this on their screen. Ofc it is not released yet, and yes there can be parts fixed before the game releases. But why show it with every gameplay? Its just so they have an excuse for everyone's concern. They just know that there will be a lot of bugs etc. And not saying this is bad, just saying this concerns me. As we know how buggy ubisoft games can be. Also Ubisoft games and marketing before a game releases, looks way better than what we eventually get in the game.
I have doubts of all AAA developers/publishers these days. They’re all garbage now. Ever since the massive increase in micro transactions and battle pass bull💩 . I’m so sick of gaming I got series X and PS5 and I just load them up and then don’t even know what to play. I want that feeling from a game I used to get where I couldn’t wait to play a game for months and months that feeling would last. Just nothing left in the industry honestly. These smaller game studios give us what we actually want they just don’t got the funds to make the games optimized for consoles or just go to PC and that’s it. Last games that I played where I had that feeling was like Battlefield 1, RDR2, Sniper GW contracts 2, Sniper elite 4, Dirt Rally 2.0, Assassins Creed Origins on my OG Xbox one lol but it looked so good at the time. Far Cry 4. So many other good games. But now it’s just all a copy and paste of the most popular predecessor it seems. Hoping this year won’t disappoint with a couple games coming out. If not I dunno I think imma just sell both my consoles and get a PC already. Sick of having to pay to use my own damn internet on their platform. It’s utter dog 💩

But I have not seen anyone back those claims up, not being showing comparisons, not by explaining. I would love if you could elaborate on why it does not look like japan!

@@yMMahmood0990 it's not as repetitive as some people think, although every ubisoft open world have repetitive unlock tower/viewpoint and capture outpost structure, side missions are not that repetitive. I've played both Odyssey and origins and both of them offer a great variety of side missions. Although I can't say the same about Valhalla because well it is repetitive. If you've played origins and Odyssey then you know that those are not that repetitive

I think it's time to let go of any hope for Ubisoft, which is a good thing. Their major IP, Far Cry & AC has been long dead because Ubisoft try to squeeze all they can from the existing easy-to-execute formula. It's been a long time since we gamers ask Ubisoft to innovate and try different approach for their game (people finally got fed up around 2018)... what do we get for our suggestion for their improvement? For Far Cry 6, we have extra wokeness For AC Odyssey, we get fantasy & cheap grinding So yes, I hope Ubisoft will dissolve as a game company. We don't need another AAA that support any kind of nonsense.

Pretty much. People hear about a game meant to release years from now and immediately say "This game is trash, forget about it" or "This game is so awesome, can't wait". This game isn't out yet. What the hell do you know that we don't? It's the exact same with GTA6. People are calling it GOTY 2025. I understand that company loyalty is a thing, but this is genuinely crazy. I kinda hope GTA6 is shit so that it serves as a wake-up call to people that something is up - though I doubt they would have enough braincells to make that connection anyway.

I'll be honest, I'm actually super happy they added like grass cutting physics to the game. Cutting through plains of grass with your sword in Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom is unironically really fun to do LOL.
I still don't understand why there're waves of people that come here just to put a dislike on the video and still call the game trash, without even looking at it.

The black bear sounds like a Huff then they hit their paws on the ground if I recall correctly luckily I’ve never needed to hear one in real life, and the closest to seeing one was it was like 600-1000 feet away and at that point it wasn’t getting closer and I didn’t want to get closer
Lol i know assassin's creed has always been historical fiction, but in the past they at least tried to also be respectful enough to history even if creative liberties were done. Ubisoft has always mastered world building since the first AC game. Sadly, everything else lacks as much detail (characters, NPC’s, mission structure, animations, lack of MO-CAP in most of their games). For a studio as big as Ubisoft, we should see detail in the characters that gives Rockstar and Naughty Dog a run for their money. Not sure why they don’t go that extra mile. If they did, they would be one of the best studios out there.

I really like the look of this game. Visually it's fabulous. I hope the game play is equally as impressive. I know many people don't like Ubisoft as a company, but this looks superb. 👌

It's pretty much pretending to be Japanese, but there are buildings, statues, and other things here and there that aren't Japanese. It's like the background is Germany, but it looks like Dutch or French style. To an Asian, it looks like Japan? China? Korea? I don't know where. If you're going to make it with imagination, why not just title it Oriental?
Such a pity they wasted such immense effort on building this region of Japan and all the engine work only to waste all that effort by going full DEI and Gaslighting mode with it's plot/story. No less those few mistakes they did make with the construction/world building aspect too.

Why would you be joking, because you're saying something positive about AC games? The AC franchise has some of the best sound design and soundtracks in gaming history, period.
Ubi should not steal Japanese copyrighted material. They should listen to the copyright holders and delete the material. They should also not use the chrysanthemum crest（Imperial Crest）, which is prohibited by law. There are many things that must be deleted, but the ones that absolutely must be deleted are the chrysanthemum crest, the Oda Mokko crest, and the flag of the Sekigahara rifle corps.

Everyone has been scared to actually speak the truth and admit that the game looks at the very least like a great, big ole open world, fun AC game set in the area everyone has always wanted AC to go to. Oh nooooo, don't wanna play as a black man (some strong sus of racism, but okay) ? Then don't, there are two playable characters. Don't wanna play as a Asian woman? Okay in that case ..well.. I'm sure they enjoyed playing Stellar Blade as a woman though lol.

looks very detalied I can see they put a lot of effort to the night lights shame if Yasuke cant take advantage of it as it looks great. Hopefully bow and arrow sneak game play.
And a better way to switch bows than Valhalla .... Nothing worse than having to go to a menu and make 4 to 5 button presses just to switch bows. Bows in Valhalla were a downgrade from Origins and a major downgrade from Odyssey. Hopefully they will go back to a sensible Ability tree rather than that gawd awful mess in Valhalla that made absolutely no sense
There’s a whole lot of world detail and things I’m looking forward to seeing in action, like how much seasons and weather actually change in game and just how much that affects things, like does wind affect projectiles? And is there a chance that in winter with snow that snow would make less or more noise? Thats some things that idk but that would be cool and add to playing through multiple times
