This past weekend was momentous occasion, it was huge great weekend to be LA Clipper, finally they got a brand new home of their very own, thank you owner Steve Ballmer getting the Clippers out of the LA Lakers shadow.
I wish I could’ve been there. I never got an invite or even knew such an event existed. I would’ve taken a day off from work just to be there to “break-in” the new Intuit Dome.
I know there are a ton of jokes to follow this question… But seriously, where are they going to put the retired jerseys and championship banners? They can’t hang them in the middle like in Boston because of the scoreboard… And if they put them against the wall like the Lakers… only a fraction of the arena can see them
They better win a championship within the next 5 years in that new arena, just like when the Warriors won when they got a new crib. If not, then...it's just a very nice crib.
