When I was serving as staff sergeant in french forces based in Germany (end of 90's till 2001), I used to work with other NATO forces, especially american forces of the 1st US armoured cavalry brigade, Ramstein, Spangdhalem, Bitburg etc... We were exchanging our MRE's with our Americans Brothers in arms, the ratio was about 7 american MRE for a single french one !
They seemed to focus on getting better each year with mains and sides. Serge's got a huge store I will have to pick a few of these new ones up they look amazing. White wine in that main that is for sure gourmet! Awesome Review Nathan.
I've pretty much given up with other MRE's. Uk' are like kiddy food food, others don't suit my palate. French are now my go-to for field use. BUT BEWARE THE PRUNES! Even a few will clear you straight out (useful sometimes 😬). Also just pop and slightly open the cans- they cook much better.. Love the channel- just subscribed. Keep up the awesome work Fella! Don't listen to them..heat it up. No way would I eat any of it cold unless I had no other choice. Leek soup looks delicious. They can also take the wild taste out if ALL the blood is drained right away.Love these rations Nathan.. thanks for sharing with us. You slay me with how you pronounce some things ROFL. Always another informative video. What state or city do you live in? You said that it was 105 f outside. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and right now it is 32 c...ooops 90 f and for the next 2 days, it is going up to...96 f.

Hey when i got to the army barrecks an get thoes mre in the cams i never open then as much as yall do i get that it 4 the show but if you barrley open it 4 steam to let out no scorch an you can cover the top with cloth shake an put back on heat
It drives me crazy when you don't take the tops all the way off or when you only put half of a pack on the plate , I want to know how much is in each dish to know if I want to buy it or not, come on dude

I had the very same ration pack about 2 months ago and the Paella was ok but the Strassbourg sausages were awful, . They had a very strange taste, very bland and one of the worse meals I've tasted.. Nougat bars and fruit bars are always good as is the cheese and pate.
Classic american: Add jam to already fancy wild cognac boar... And my friend, that's the reason why these MRE are nor supposed to be sold to foreigners. As a french myself, we went in war for less than that... 😂
