Brand New Piscifun Insulated Ice Fishing Shelter | 2023 

Are parts readily available for this ice shelter? Don't need a shack that doesn't have pats available to fix it if/when it breaks.

I like the new huts, but don't like how short they are. On the big brands you don't have to duck under the full door. I also wish the tie downs were proper straps instead of cheap laces. Overall the huts seem to be better but still need a few tweaks

Several people complaining about the height. I am 6’4” tall. Is this the tent I would choose to camp over night in probably not but for day fishing this would be great! The extra height on some other brands (which I own several) can be nice but one big downfall that people don’t take into consideration is the wind. Tall tents even staked and strapped collapse much easier.

Bring on the ice I can’t wait.

Seems like the big door side will flap like wild in the wind with no way to tension it up? It looks all loose and sloppy?

I had one of these loaded up in my cart until I watched this video and saw the height. Unfortunately it’s way too short. 75 inches to the top hub is only 6’3”. Looks like that puts the walls around 5’7”. That means many of us have to duck and can’t stand upright expect for a few feet right in the middle. My other hubs are a 72 inch wall with 80 inches to the top and I can comfortably stand and walk in nearly the entire area. It’s a great looking tent, but the low height is a massive miss in my opinion.

Just from looking at pictures, there appears to be a really really nice feature your left out of this video: grommets in the skirt corners for anchoring. That feature is tremendously beneficial on hub style houses, especially when setting up in the wind.

Is it a 3-hub design? What’s bracing the door side? It looks like there could be some billowing on that side from the wind? Nice unit. I like the full door.

2 things: a little taller, and I can’t find the dimensions, but I like to fish the green river below Flaming Gorge Dam, and if it would accommodate a camp cot, voila- I could use this year round, as it could double as a tent. And, maybe you could add an optional rain fly, for that purpose? A tarp works fine for a floor so I wouldn’t sweat that. Maybe add a “stove jack”? Just thinking out loud. 😁 you have a great product at a fair price - don’t mess that up. 😜

Amazing! Going to buy one to use as a vocal booth. Sounds like it isolated the outside noise very well when you went inside. Curious, does it have an option for a floor even though it's meant for ice fishing?

How much does the shelter weigh?

Now you need to make a hunting blind for duck and deer. I want one of those blinds where you can see out through the material but they can’t see you. Kind of like reflective lens glasses. I own a pecan orchard and want it for crows. Very intelligent animal. Ranked in the top 5 smartest animals.

Is there enough length for a 84in cot to fit i am very interested in buying one but it has to be long enough for a cot

Wish it was taller needs to be 6 ft on the sides and 7 in the middle hope the zippers are better than last years mine broke on the second outing

Either your 7 foot tall or that shack really missed the mark on height. Other than that it looks like a decent 2 man hub house.

So much bad and cheap ice shelter on the market right now, will see the quality this season…..
