Pag bumili ng 2nd hand, wag gamitin agad, asess all possible mechanical damage and parts na dapat palitan, recondition muna. Mas makakatipid in the long run both time and money.

Fact is that even new cars have issues. Some used cars out there specially toyotas and hondas can give you hundreds of thousands of kilometers as long as you know how to pick and TAKE CARE of them.

ako boss ryan bumili ako ng second hand mag 15 years na pero smooth pa din, yun nga gaya ng sinabi mo nagkakaroon talaga ng sira kapag tumatagal, pero kapag ang nabili mong kotse ay low maintenance gaya ng nabili ko na kotse di mo gaano mararamdaman ang gastos kasi mura lang ang spare parts at saka kapag nasira kahit saang auto repair shop pwede at cheaper din. Payo ko na lang kapag bibili kayo ng secondhand magdala kayo ng mapagkakatiwalaan ninyo na mekaniko na mag approve Kung maayos pa. ang bibilhin ninyo na second hand.

Pero agree ako sa conclusion. Mas maganda nga second hand na 2-3 years old.

Pag bumili kasi tayo ng sasakyan, huwag dapat yung value ang tinitignan kundi yung purpose nito kung bakit tayo kailangan bumili ng sasakyan. 😊

Ang disadvantage lng ung resell value 40 to 50% n ang mwawala lalo n ngayon mdali lng mg avail ng new car my zero down payment p n promo. So both my advantage at disadvantage.

I'll go for 2nd hand coz my brother in law last Nov 2016 acquiared 2nd hand hyundai tucson model 2013 m/t (through ewb) the spot price of the unit is 505k. At wala naman sya 505k sa bank ang ginawa nya ay nagbid sya the bid price is 520k Thanks God panalo sa bidding at binawas na lang sa bid price ang nadepost nya bidding fee na 10k & he required 30% of 510k for the downpayment at ang monthly payment 13,600 for 3yrs, next year of march fully paid na ang maganda pa nito ang mileage ay 5,225 at 2yrs lang nagamit ng 1st lady owner ang unit at 8months nasa ewb. the unit released in 1month. Ang advantage ng 2nd hand: 1. kahit magasgas ay hindi masakit sa kalooban 2. clean papers 3. not hot cars 4. not involved in crime or accident 5. beginner ang brother in law ko kaya dapat lang 2nd hand Ang disadvantage naman: "as is where is" the unit possible w/ scratch & dents *Ayaw korin ng 2nd hand pag more than 7k mileage at madami ng scratch or dents. *I suggest if mag 2nd hand ay sa bank na mag acquiare.

ung 2014, instead of going for a new Montero/Fortuner, invested the money for my kid's future. And took a portion of it and bought a used Toyota Revo 2003 model, priorities over needs over wants, pero 5 years na wala pang problema or tirik. gas and go to any point of Luzon.. PMS=3K petot! Consider also brand reliability. For sure madaming kasabayan nabili ko, many older cars may be still in the road and yung iba baka junk na. so No. 11, Brand reputation. Choose a car that would fit your daily needs, not to impress yung kapitbahay mo or bought a new or used car just to belong ...even if you can afford one. pS. got a 1998 mitsu gsr few years back and still at pristine condition :)

Mas magandang bumili ng used sa kakilala if possible kasi alam mo ang personality nya. Pag ang tao ay conservative or yung mga may edad na ay ang tendency ay maingat ito sa sasakyan. Pag agresibo at malakas ang personality ay pabarog ito gumamit. Not all but majority.

For me yes ok ang brandnew kc nga brandnew tlaga at d pa nagamit. Pero marami nmn din 2ndhand na bago2 pa tapos mas mura kaya for me 2ndhand mas makakatipid ka basta check lang mabuti para d maloko.

With or without budget second hand na ako. Iwas tax ka pa, just make sure marunong ka lang tumingin or bring your trusted mechanic kapag bibili ka.

I bought an Adventure Diesel 2nd hand for 200k and it was a total bargain, Bought an Everest for 290k and it was still a total bargain too, Maintenance is cheap and is easy to maintain maka DIY ka lang. My vote goes to 2nd hand, what I can say is Swerte Swerte lang talaga haha. Subbed!0

Sa ngayon kasi mas 'affordable' na bumili ng brand new dahil sa mga "all-in" promo. Kaya if ever bibili ako ng 2nd hand, sa kakilala o kamaganak ko nalang talaga.

One good example,,, Toyota Vios E m/t brand new price is 831k... In the classified ads, you will see the same model less than 1 year old with less than 10,000km mileage selling around 525k to 575k... A cousin already bought one for 540k with only 7,000km mileage and it really looks and performs like brand new... Imagine nagamit lng ng 7,000km nakatipid ka na ng almost 300k pesos!!! Brand new cars depreciate in value very fast specially in its first year... The tecnique is to let the first owner shoulder the depreciation then grab it...

this is a good advise only for the rest of us - buyers who dont have the money to buy a brand new car. else, if you have the money to spare then buy a brand new car.

For me that is a good idea to buy 3 year old secondhand car modelo pa at cheaper and you can sell it with higher price.

Mas sulit ang 2nd hand pero malas mo pag inabutan ka ng major na sira ng kotse. Usually lumalabas ang major na sira between 5-10yrs ng kotse. Lalo na kung ang sira ay sa makina mismo.

Tama lahat ang cnabi mo ser,,,kc nakabili na ako ng secondhand na kotse lumang luma 1996 model sus ok nagamit ko lang ng 1 week naku po, lumabas ang sandamakmak na sira naibenta ko lang na mas mura...kaya pagbumili ulit ako ng kotse yung bago na talaga para walang problema. Para saken mas maganda talaga 2ndhand kung low budget ka.tulad ko bumili ako ng suzuki alto 2018 model.nabili ko lang nung 2021. Ang kagandahan sa nabili ko 4,800 lang milleage nia.tapos yung sasakyan para talagang bnew.halos hndi ginagit ng lady driver.dahil inabot ng pandemic yung sasakyan.sa pagbili ng 2ndhand cars,kailangan talaga maging patient ka lang sa paghahanap ng used cars.

Learn to become a mechanic first.. it will cost only more or less 10k... there are a lot of mechanic schools out there.. this will guide you buying a used car...

Nakabili ako ng suv sa repo auction sa bangko 3 years old pa lng, still look and runs like new atvery low price. Nasa akin pa rin up to now 4 years na sa akin halos wala pa sira.AND MY other car toyota corolla bought in 2000 a repo also 1997 model still with me and very reliable for my daily use.

mas prefer ko yung 2nd hand na 5 years and below..bakit? kung magaling ka maghanap and magnegotiate makukuha mo top the line model..and kapag bibili ka ng 2nd hand magsama ka ng trusted mong mekaniko and ask the owner to test drive ito mga atleast 5 KM lalo na highway driving and patakbuhin mo mga 40 to 60 KM/ph dun mo kasi malalaman kung good or bad ang performance ng sasakyan..well this is only my personal opinion thanks

Brand new lagi kung afford mo, kasi sa brand new meron warranty 30k miles or 3years factory warranty pero depende din sa manufacturer , kung second hand dmo alam ang history ng kotche, kung pano tinarato ng previous owner just my 2cents.✌🏽

You should always go for a brand new, I'm not saying na hindi reliable yung 2nd hand pero ilagay nyo na sa mas sigurado yung pera nyo. I remember, I was too desperate to have a car back when I was in college so I save my allowances to buy a 2nd hand car, sabi ko kasi ito nalang rin pagpractisan ko total mechanical engineering kinukuha ko so ayun na nga naka bili ako ng nissan sentra sa presyong 100k tapos okay naman sya so far, buhay pa nga hanggang ngayon e almost 6 years na nakakaraan. Galit tagala ako sa mga brand new especially loan. Kahit tatay ko papatayin ko siya kung bumili siya ng brand new car. Pilipino kasi eh pasikat lang kahit kulang na sa sweldo.

Yung gusto bumili ng second hand try niyo yung TCUV toyota certified used vehicle. Certified siya meaning in very good condition di pa nasira at wala pa may pinalitan. Usually nasa less than 60k pa ang mileage. Yung nabili namin 50k pa lang 2014 model vios E CVT. sa toyota kasi pwede mag trade in ng unit pero dapat di pa lalampas ng 5 years yung unit mo at dapat below 60k mileage. May 1 year warranty.

Dare to buy second hand if you have knowledge about car repair. Buy a new car If you know nothing about car but you know how to drive. *Note: New cars are highly computerized items so do not dare to touch them while your warrantly is still in effect otherwise you will lose it! Only casa can fix it because they are the only ones who have the computer OS. In other countries, the computer OS should be copied to the buyer no more no less like a desktop computer OS. Philippines car dealers cannot do that. Second hand cars prior to 1996 backwards have less computers. With that, repairs can be manageable by average car mechanics along the way.

Two things: 1. If you want PIECE OF MIND and or buying a second car especially going to a woman driver, BUY NEW. 2. If you know cars ( handi-man) and would like to save, sure buy a second hand. Cheaper insurance (sa U.S.) at konti na lang babayaran mo or maybe nothing kung kaya mong e-cash the used price. Make sure you replace the delicate and must-replace preventive maintenance parts like timing belts/thermostat, replace all fluids, belts and radiator hose(s), etc...it shouldn’t cost a lot. After all’s done, then this will give you also the piece of mind close to a nearly new car state (mentally, Lol)) for quite a long while knowing na alam mo na ang NEW history ng used car mo.

Yung binile nmin Toyota Hi Ace Grandia 3.0 diesel 2004 model 2 years na sa amin hnggng ngayon ok pa nmn ang performance nya at marami ng lugar na napuntahan sa Baguio, Quezon, Batangas, Bataan bale wala ang mga akyatan puno pa ng sakay. Basta alaga lng sa makina at ung ibng parts lagi lng nyo lng check up. Pero kung may budget nmn kau sa bago na kau para sure tlaga.

Yung isuzu Sportivo 2010 at toyota fortuner na 2015 namin ok pa ang second hand dahil sa presyo niya at may mga stock pa.pag brand new maghihintay ka pa ng matagal kasi wala silang color na gusto mo o kaya kotse na confortable.

I have both 2nd hand and one brandnew car which I bought a year ago. My 2ndhand van model 1999 is still in good condition which I bought 10 years ago. As for my one year old car, I opt out of the casa PMS because there is no Casa near my location. The nearest Casa is in Pampanga which is far from my place. Upon assessing all the positives/negatives and since my car is brand new, I think within the next 2 years the condition of the car is still in tip top condition.

I agree with everything said in the video BUT the advise of getting a used car which is 3 years old for cold hard cash is actually quite expensive. 3 year old cars are usually 500k up unless your talking about ultra budget cars in which case they are about 350k. Even 350k is pretty heavy for most people when brand new cars can be loaned with a downpayment of way less than that plus a monthly payment at a reasonable rate. What I'm saying is it's not easy to say a new car is strictly more expensive than getting used, especially if your talking about 2-3 year old cars. It may be more expensive in the long run but if your starting at 0 pesos and earn X amount, how long will it take to save up P500k vs just loaning a new car from a bank especially for someone who is tight on a budget?

Pero bago bumili ng kotse brand new or second hand man yan, dapat meron kayong mga garahi hindi yung sa gilid lang ng kalsada nakadisplay. Blindspot lang sa aming dumadaan nagiging oneway pa yung kalsada.

Another factor - usually pag second hand may plaka na. So kung second car siya, makakapili ka ng di sasabay ang coding sa current car mo. Pag brand new kasi, hindi mo alam magiging ending ng plaka. May risk na sasabay siya sa coding ng current car mo.

Good information SIr. Bumili ako ng Brand new ng 2011 ng Nissan Grand Livina at hanggang ngayon ay gamit pa rin namin. Minimal lang ang nasira. Malakas ang makina at matipid sa gas. Natapos akong magbayad ng 2017. Masarap pala kapag wala ka ng binabayarang monthly. Kung bibili naman uli ako ay gusto ko pa tin ang brand new, pero mas maganda cash na lang.
