This is part 3 of my vacation in New Hampshire.
Now here is a wash that I wasn’t planning on revisiting, as I thought it was the same back in 2022. But, about a day after filming the 2 Laconia chain washes, we went by this place when heading to get some lunch, and immediately noticed a major change to the touch free bays. After seeing this, I knew I had to check them out later. And today was that day!
Sparkle Clean owns and operates 2 locations in New Hampshire, and a single location up in Scarborough Maine. The 2 in New Hampshire are located in Laconia and Meredith. The Meredith location (also revisited) is a single mini tunnel wash with a couple self service bays, while this location is the usual 3-bay touch free and single self service bay car wash. The location in Scarborough however, is a tunnel wash with a detailing center and interior cleaning services.
This location seems to be the “newest” location out of all 3. The original systems here were 2 PDQ LaserWash G5-S machines, with the older signage and on-board MaxAir dryers. Then in mid-2010 ish I believe, a third G5-S was installed, replacing a self service bay. This one was a tad different than the other ones, as this one had the newer gantry graphics and the new signage.
These systems remained unchanged here until a few months ago, they were unexpectedly ripped out, thrown in the dump and replaced with 3 WashWorld RAZOR Double Barrel systems! This is my second time seeing a Double Barrel, but is my first time seeing a triple set up of them side-by-side. RAZORS are starting to pop up more and more often now in New Hampshire, as it was mainly all Mark VII systems. Now it seems like there will be more variety now.
Along with the new systems, they have also eliminated one wash package here, so they now have 3 instead of 4. And they also have 3 add-on options now. The Ceramic Paint Shield for $5, a new add-on that I haven’t seen before, a extra high pressure wash was pass for $3 and finally, a extra Presoak pass for $3.

Comments: this was the BEST touch free wash that I’ve ever gone through! Not only that it did a great job, but it managed to get the tree sap and dead bugs off of the windshield, which is something that touch free washes normally don’t get off! The dryers did pretty good as well! Overall, this was a great wash and I highly recommend it!
