I discovered your music during the Pandemic. I'm joyed that Joni has chosen you as her protegé. I don't know a living artist more deserving.

I have listened to every note for many years. I could tell Brandi did too. GREAT job doing this song justice

I would normally say that it is virtually impossible for anyone to perform this masterpiece except for Joni herself. This performance is really incredible. A true gem. I mean, it took my breath away. Brandi didn't copy Joni but in the strangest way, she made the song her own. And the musicians........unbelievable. I can only imagine what Joni thought as she listened to this.

Brandi was the best singer at Joni’s 75th party. This song is what got me to read Brandi’s memoir and listen to her discography.

Literally the best Joni cover that exists.

I was not familiar with Brandi until I watched the 75th birthday celebration of Joni Mitchell on PBS Sunday. I love Joni and had not listened to "Spark and Court" for several years. A wonderful Album and Brandi sang it beautifully. Thank you.

Oh Brandi thank you for being so faithful to Joni’s music. I’ve been listening to everything I can get my hands on that you sang of hers and I could drink a case of you! I’m a 59 year old white straight white male. My first concert was at Blossom Music Center in Akron Ohio in 1972 or 73. My brother and I walked in a got tickets 10 rows from the stage right smack dab center. It was right when Court and Spark Came out. I listened to that album and Iwas hooked. I bought Blue and For the Roses and Ladies of the canyon and her first album. I was so drawn to her lyrics. Her desire to live and love freely and well and selflessly but struggling to live up to that standard. Thanks for being Joni’s exact representation but still you and your beautiful voice. You honor her with your musical excellence. Love can be so sweet!

So beautifully emotional and moving. Everything just so perfectly imperfect in this song and lyric, love is so strange. I know this music like my hands... I am in awe of this breathtaking performance.

Bless you, Joni I can't believe you made it, it doesn't matter if you can speak anymore, you communicate through you're music. I was told today you're getting so much stronger and working on talking :( Thank you for telling me about my bio father before you got such an unfair deal, but you made it and have your daughter now. Im sure if my dad made it I would be with him alone side you bless you what an amazing woman. I graduate soon, I did it, Joni ! He'd be proud!

Joni Mitchell....one of the best artists ever...this was ok...but not nearly as great as the original..

There is no anger in Joni's version. Acceptance, perhaps resignation, longing, sorrow - but no anger, blame or judgement. I love Brandi but don't think she captured that nuance.
