You laugh but that’s what they really think.. they are out of touch with reality. He wants to have a bigger chain and fancier car than the next guy. Children.
Pearsall is a problem for Aiyuk. If Aiyuk doesn’t sign he may not get a big pay day. He knows he needs to play his last year or give way to Ricky Pearsall. Even if he does play he may not see the ball if it’s true that Ricky can get open quickly then Brandon won’t be the main target and becomes the de facto number three which will drop his value. It’s in Brandon interest to get the best deal he can and sign that contract. Waiting another year maybe a gamble. I am not stating Brandon won’t have a good year he might. It’s a gamble to wait to sign as injury and other things can happen to bring down his value.
Let him go, he’s been stirring the pot since the SB. He waited for the Jefferson deal and it ruined his prospects. I love BA I do. He’s an amazing receiver, and he would be missed on the field. But the 49ers can’t afford that and nor should they pay him that much money. We’ve got a full receiver room, talented and fairly young. Having his girlfriend and friends post stuff on his behalf, is toxic. Don’t bring toxicity into that amazing locker room. JJ got paid, CMC was extended why do you think he hasn’t been paid yet? There’s no way they said we don’t want you back, they don’t want him back for the asking price. This happens all the time. Trade him. Too much bad blood, I’m sorry I wish that wasn’t the case.
Between him and his “wife” talking smack. Ricky Pearsall looking good. Debo trying to redeem himself as WR1 we can let him go. Because as good as he was last year. Brandon was only putting up WR2 numbers until last year. Every year there are a number of WR who are WR2 numbers. If Brandon thinks he’s worth Justin Jefferson pay come back and put up another 1400 yards and 15+ touchdowns but one great season is not worth it and we might have to be giving Brock a big QB contact soon.
Purdy made BA who he was last year. He can do it woth Pearsall and Cowing. And he's got Jennings whom definitely deserves to be in the game more, Purdy will make them all look just as good. BA is messing up big time here. He's on a talented roster that is unlike any in the nfl right now.
@@JP12Ninersfaithful Annnnnndddd that’s what people who’s saying pay him. Don’t understand Brandon is nothing special. He doesn’t have elite speed or ability to out jump, he’s not overly physical. ALL THE 49ers WR have to want to block to play and Brandon is highly replaceable.
I never understand why players act like this, I feel like taking a cut to win a ring gives you more chances for endorsements and such. Go get paid on a terrible team and everyone will forget you exist
I feel the same as you man.... Make it up by multiples with endorsement and investments...but we're not in his shoes.so hard to judge another man's business
@@scottdavidson7543 nah, its pretty easy to judge another man's business when you know the offers on the table, the numbers they are aiming for, and seeing his family/gf help play a role in all this bs.
@scottdavidson7543 yeah I mean I'm not in his shoes, so can't say exactly how it is. Wasn't Tom Brady known for taking very small contracts for the team? Look how that worked out lol
@@Carlos559Caps: Well one thing’s for SURE … if BA didn’t want any of that 💩 out there, none of us would know his girlfriend or family even have social media. #GoNiners 👊🏽
There is realistically no reason from a business standpoint to pay Jefferson money to Aiyuk. The fact that he would be willing to cripple the team's cap just for a payday he hasn't earned yet really goes to show his maturity and commitment level. Please do better, BA.
He deserves to be paid among the highest. Now he’s not gonna sniff JJ money but Waddle/Amon Ra money? Definitely. It’s a business at the end of the day
Certainly, but we currently lack the specific figures he is seeking. I believe it is unlikely that any team in the league would offer Aiyuk a contract comparable to Jefferson's.
No one and I mean no one is going to pay BA the money he wants and more than SF, he is really important for us, for other teams not that much. So we get it BA, you deserve more money, but you really need to come back to earth if you think you will get Jefferson‘s money.
Agreed. I got a lot of love for BA but he needs more of a team friendly deal if he wants to stay. He has to realize he isn't the only one they gotta pay out on the field, and the Niners making the decision to pay the rest of the team should make him think about what he's asking for.
@@user-hi7qs9df2o I think you're being too black and white (either/or) about it. Contracts are negotiations and of course players are going to try to get as much as they can. It would be stupid not to, but sometimes it's smarter to scale back rather than try to ask for the sky and end up with a worse home and less money.
No they’re making the smart play. They have 2 capable Qbs that they’re paying nothing for so that allows them to do it. It’s what 9ers did and Seattle.
The Vikings gave Kirk Cousins money to Justin Jefferson. This is the reason Jefferson got paid 35 million. Jefferson is not an indicator or the wide receiver market. He's an outlier.
@@Anthony4949 It's NOT what the 49ers did. The 49ers didn't bust the market on a positional player. The Vikings did. There was no legit reason I can think of for the Vikings to pay JJ that much. If you want to pay him more than Tyreek, fine. But THAT much more? I don't see where the win is for the Vikings.
They don't want you back at an exorbitant price. If it was my call, you'd get traded to Denver for IOL Quinn Meinerz, or Wahington for IOL Sam Cosmi. Bill Walsh was strictly business when it came to personnel, and he didn't put up with this nonsense. Walsh would have dealt Aiyuk before the draft. The NFL should revise contract deadlines to expire before the draft. That way both sides have the urgency, and teams will know where both sides stand, while they can still draft a replacement.
Me too these fans speak out of jealousy a lot, because this isn't new these are negotiations. Ba is the beat we have amd he needs to be here to make another push for this ring.
Let him go. He said they don't want me here. You can't live on 26 instead of 28 or whatever he wants. Does he want to go to a crappy team. Everyone can be replaced.
When did he ever say he doesn’t want to be here? Wanting to be here and wanting what he’s worth are two different things. And you’ll be the first one to whine if Pearsall doesn’t workout and BP has no one that can get open when our run game stalls.
Aiyuk said he wanted to stay a 49er but this just makes me see what he's about. Love Aiyuk and id love for him to be back but this is ridiculous to think hes gonna get even close to Justin Jefferson money is insane i see 27.5 million max as what the 49ers are willing to go. I hope they are able to come to an agreement that satisfies both sides.
The people close to BA may need to chill. Here's another contract negotiation post that involves BAs gf, friends, and family. It seems like they are about to Yoko Ono BA's relationship with the rest of the team.
@@jasoneng3161he can't leave unless the niners release him. He's on contract for 2024 no matter what he wants, and they can Tag him for 2025. I don't see that happening but it's an option. Because he's still under contract they CAN trade him and Will if in fact they do not want to bring him back. I think it would be stupid and they should give him $28mil with a nice guarantee and get it over with.
One good year? Go look at the stats again. He has been more consistent than Deebo before his deal. I wouldn't pay him a crazy amount but let's not diminish the impact he has had on the team from getting the defense better with his attitude and effort to being a safety blank for Purdy as he started his career.
@@profniner80 He's broken 1,000 yards twice (once barely), with a career high of 8TD's, and never come close to even 100 catches in a season. Last season was his best by far, and yes it really went to his head.
This is a negotiating ploy by Aiyuk. He’ll have to pick between a reasonable deal or getting the franchise tag. He’s a great player, but he - not his agent, his wife or his friends - needs to decide what his priorities are.
BA's agent needs to tell him that every time he pulls this social media crap, it actually reduces his leverage even more. I've seen a shift in the fan base sentiment from "Just pay the man!" to "Trade the greedy bustard!".
$26M p. year was still too low? CMC was an MVP front runner who also acted as a receiver (besides being a RB) and he’s only taking $19M p. year. BA c’com man, this is getting ridiculous.
Dude needs to reduce his asking price and get some endorsement deals for extra money.. Dude is still under contract and needs to report to work.. 49ers should focus on the o-line since Purdy needs better pass protection..🏈🏈🏈
I love BA and want him on the team, but when you start drifting into posting stuff on social media to create a false narrative, maybe it's time to part ways. They don't want you at the price you have requested. People forget they tried to move him at the draft, and the price tag was too high. They have already shown that they would rather move off him than overpay. When he said he was willing to wait until everyone else signed their deals, that should have been the first red flag. Offer him 28 or play out his deal. Take it or leave it. Hell, he could play out his deal, and they could still tag him. BA ain't making the kinda of money to just sit out and waste prime years. Don't pull a Le'Veon Bell and end your career by going to another team for less money. Oh, and the kicker of not fitting in the offense. Bell ended his career over a hold out. Kyle's offense helped develop him and turn him into the player he is. You could go to a place and completely not fit in their scheme. Yeah, you got your money, but your stock is in the toilet. Most receivers do not sign a second contract.
Where was all this anger and displeasure when Bosa was holding out? I don't want to hear ,Brandon isn't Bosa, but he has made play after play. Blocking catching
@steveochoa7801 I was there too, and it wasn't this bad. The sad part is the fans that say these things "trade em" not worth the money. "Drama queen" wasn't complaining when he was carving up defense's, catching those TDs,blocking down field getting CMC lose to the paint. 49ER FAITHFUL? Do they understand what that means?
Again...Love B.A's game, he's obviously a great talent and he has balled out 👍🏽🙏🏽...But ☝🏽, I'm getting T.O vibes 🤔💭...anyone who doesn't want be in SF, LET HIM GO! and we'll be just fine 👌🏽...there is A LOT of talented people in this world and we'll find another...we might even have them in house already with "3rd and Juann" and Ricky 😉...it not I trust the Niners will find it and think of the franchise first and our future 👍🏽
Let him sit a year waiting at home for a new contract that won't come. He can find another team next season and see who will pay him that much. Thanks for your efforts, there's the door!
AS he shows a clip of himself catching a ball BS...no we don't want you back for over 30M a year. glad ricky and Brock are working out a lot together))
The important question is will they get this settled before training camp or not. We lost effective Deebo & Bosa for a year because this process went too long. Both said it affected their performance that year.
Shows immaturity, something I honestly didn't expect from Aiyuk, who has behaved professionally as far as I can remember. The 49ers are not and should not pay the WR position Jefferson money because it's not a winning formula. I was complaining about drafting 2 WRs last draft - and not enough O linemen - but I guess right now it's looking like a pretty shrewd move. If one of the picks works out, then the team can move on from Aiyuk without missing too much.
Exactly. Finding rookie (cheap on the cap-pocketbook) stars, like Brock Purdy go a long way towards a sustainable winning formula, and becomes MORE necessary the more loaded your roster gets. Is Ricky Pearsall the next financial boom star player, that allows releasing BA? BA has GOT TO KNOW that paying him Justin Jefferson type money is not sustainable for the team - frankly, it's a team killer. I love BA, his elite route running, his sticky and strong hands, his effective downfield blocking, his chemistry with Brock... but... expecting a team-killing contract when we have the best WR room in the league WITHOUT BA, just with Deebo, Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall, it is a no brainer what the team must choose to do: offer BA a very good ~$28M/yr contract or release him after next year.
@@rhmayer1 Yeah this is my feeling exactly. 28m/yr seems like a good number for both sides - I wonder what the actual number on the table has been so far.
Trade him to a team that The 49ers know who will end up with a top 10 pick in April of 2025 even if they get B. Aiyuk. Someone needs to have the sense.
Aiyuk needs a corner-store year if he wants 20 plus million per year. Let him play out his final year and take advantage. Next year he may sign elsewhere. No problem and good luck! We're probably offering him a fair deal.
Man the Aiyuk slander bc of this contract drama is crazy. Dude is the Brock Purdy of receivers. Deebo isn’t a #1 and Juan sure isn’t. Our rookies look great but counting on them to shoot out of the gate into a #1 is crazy. He’s also the only every down receiver we’ve got AND is our best blocker. Losing BA would hurt bad.
Hey, if he sits the year out over a contract dispute, he will put himself in with L. Bell and he will end his career in a year or 3. Owners don't want that...
If he sits the year out he will still be under contract he has to ppay this year to become a free agent or his 5th year option will extend to next year. Both sides just need to get it done.
@@lukeluna3732 no they don't. Aiyuk is under contract he will just keep getting fined every day he doesn't show up. He ain't worth what he is asking for. Make him play out the year and franchise tag him and trade him.
I really hope the NINERS either trade him this summer or just let him walk next year. Overpaying him will hurt the team and it seems like that’s what it’s going to take to keep him. I don’t think the organization will make such a detrimental contractual decision.
And thanks for the coffee shop update David. Shame about BA but niners management have to be sensible about the money. Fortunately the miners are not low on attacking options.
Exactly, diva WRs asking to be the highest paid goes back decades. Long before these new fans (who say he’s worth every penny he’s asking) we’re even born! And the odds of it working out for the team who paid them, is right up there with hitting on a 1st rd QB.
I think the writing is on the walls. BA ain’t gonna be around past this year. Pearsal I think is standing out and they are willing to accept he replaces BA
Either way you look at it, Aiyuk is showing immaturity, undeserving of the over-pay he wants. Why keep a guyblike this. I will say again, Aiyuk will not be as good on any other team. Way to show your true colors... later homie, kick rocks!
Welp, I’m starting to feel like it might be best to trade BA and move on. Great receiver but I’ll miss his run blocking the most. I think they can get receiving production out of other guys but his ability to block down field is elite.
@@danielalfano2424 Creating unnecessary drama during negotiations. I’ve been very patient with his antics up until this point. I don’t care if it’s played for laughs, cuz I ain’t laughing. Sign the man, or don’t. Idgaf
Aiyuk is a product of the Shanahan system and having a stacked roster....If he leaves and goes to a crap team he will soon learn he isn't all that, especially 30 million worth....With less talent, he will not be open as much, without Kyle calling plays, Aiyuk wouldn't have over 1K yards.....BUT... The Nines do not need to destroy their future by overpaying a player. Make him play his contract, then hang a 2nd round tag on him at the end of the season. Why do players sign contracts and suddenly expect to get out of it for more money....If a team renigged on their contract when players don't perform they would be crying to the players union.
Well most aren't on crap teams, you have to have a team. Ba is absolutely wr1 I don't know what you've been watching but ba is that guy, he helps this system, blocks and is responsible for other people td's, can always get open against any coverage or defender, he's got that dog in him, he's worth every penny because that's what they get paid.
That Jefferson contract was so so stupid. It’s also why many of us said that SF should have quit stalling & extended him early in the offseason so that these more recent WR deals didn’t cause the price to skyrocket. I def want Aiyuk back. I’d much rather have him long term than Deebo. But at nowhere close to the Jefferson contract.
Pressure creates diamonds and that diamond is slick rick. I would not mind if we trade aiyuk For some good picks. But i feel we will stay and sign ba for 28.5 mil a year.
Keep him this year, franchise the next. That’s roughly 22-24M a year combined(15m this year and ~30M next). Let him walk the following year and get a 3rd round comp pick. (This is IF he doesn’t come down on demands, bc I’d much rather have him than deebo, just at 27/yr)
Kyle needs things to be absolutely perfect for us to win a SB. And it's also my opinion that Kyle is most likely the one who doesn't want BA back at market rate. This is going to lose us games because they're all not on the same page.
