They didn't get better on the offensive line which is going to come back and bite them again.

Considering the 49ers been in the SB twice in the last 4 years with 2 nfc title game losses, they're automatically are "losers" until proven otherwise. That's what made this last SB loss so hard to take cuz the "window " to win a SB can remain open only for so long.

lol we brought back 20 starters from Last years squad and added a lot this offseason. 😂 more depth on the dline. Another playmaker in Slick Rick. This could be our best secondary under Shannahan as well. Especially with Hufunga coming back.

At the end of the day they didn’t upgrade their offensive line which was the biggest downer all of last year especially in pass protection. They almost got Purdy killed in the vikings game and it lost us the super bowl since the last offensive play the niners had in the game their RT didn’t block at all. Honestly really disappointing offseason for me just because of that but I don’t think they got any worse.

😂 Hard to tell at this point. Even 53 roster not set. Not a lot of flashy FAs or trades. But this is a vet team with tight salary cap. Defense has a lot of new players. D-line might be better. At least pass rush side. But run stoppers is a concern. Some FAs CB added, makes it more competitive. SS/FS is a concern. Huff recovery n Gibson replacement? A new DC n Assistant HC. Winters, Luter appeared to be better. Offense got more WRs. BA situation is still unsettled. But WRs room is full. O-line got some help in draft n FAs. Most thought most area of need. O-line ranked #20-28. But still got to SB. Brock quick processing n ability to make off schedule plays, might have helped it from ranking worse. Williams is 35+, could retire, if injured, line play may be worse. TE backups left. Willis is setting up. Will FA Logan help. RBs upgrade is in question. Guerendo is fast, but change position, was a starter . Reach on measurebles, like Latu? UFA RB Schrader looks interesting, but no room on 53. Another concern is QB backups. Dobbs isn't going to get to SB, if Brock hurt, because of leaky O-line. Allen is not much better. Last yr UFAs all are not with the team. Gems in rough are hard to find. Last yr draft, had 1 starter. Moody, not Robbie yet. Brown started for Huff injury. Many should set up this yr. This yr draft n UFAs has promise, but team has little spots for newbies. Injuries happen in camp n preseason n season. 53 Roster is never set. Niners can still change roster during season. Hopefully, Niners win SB this yr. Salary cap will force rebuilding at some point. Especially, if have to pay Brock 50-60 mill. Many fan favorite will be released or traded.

I like the depth. Secondary is better. WR is deeper. O line is better not amazing but better

Dline got better. The corners are better. Hufanga coming back helps a lot. Losing greenlaw for the beginning of the season hurts the most. The offense, imo will be better they added weapons. I think Kyl will open the playbook more. Pearsall will allow deebo to line up all over the field. They just need one of the backup tight ends to actually step up.

So you stood pat at 3, instead of moving up to get what you need a bonified Right Tackle. OK

Every off-season these silly commentators say the Niners are some and made every mistake you can make. But we keep winning! So who cares what they said, let's get behind them and hopefully we can finish with the chip.

We have since 2019 our defense has gone backwards ❗️yes our offense looks better but for all attention they give our defense it has gone backwards ❗️

Well, the 49ers had the most talented team in the NFL and the still couldn’t get it done. They aren’t gonna be as good as last years team so yeah, common sense tells me they got worse.

Ok, Im going to take everyone who has ever played in the NFL seriously when they write a story about the NFL?. Some of these ex players have had some of the worst takes period. There is a reason most never land a coaching or scouting job. Come on Biden, stop it.

They absolutely are worse. Greenlaw will probably miss half the year, and their roster depth at Defensive End, Defensive Tackle, Linebacker and Safety is gone. They improved their offensive depth at every spot except Tight End, so they should be better on offense, but their defensive depth has declined significantly. Their margin for absorbing injuries on defense is gone.
