Everybody has a story man. Why not wish for another human be a better person? I personally would love to see bam and all other humans have awesome lives.
You all are great examples of how you can turn your life around. The fact that you're showing the younger generation that it's cooler to be sober and you can do huge things that positively impact the world is such a positive distribution of positive energy that anyone could give 💜💜💜
@@marcread8543doesn't mean that Novak didn't go after an actual Steel Reserve after the freaking show, I don't believe he's sober, I believe he's paid enough to be not sober and comfortable with it and that's coming from a recovering addict myself
@@purpshake he means, it doesn't matter how good someone looks or how articulate someone is. Relapse is always a concern for an addict. We can just hope bam keeps on track and remains sober
There are definitely times that don't stick, because we aren't in the right mindset, and times that do, where we are. We can fail a thousand times but the one time that sticks makes the effort worthwhile. All we can do is hope this is the time. @@PaoriLePresident
I bumped into Bam and Novak at the Crobar in London many many years ago. It's hard to believe Novak is still alive and that Bam is the one who's struggling more. Wish them both nothing but good luck and godspeed.
Hard to believe Novak is doing better than Bam. I woulda never guessed that a decade or so ago. Let alone still believing alive now. Keep it uo,my man!
A lot of these celebrities are paid enough to use and not get in trouble. I honestly believe Novak is one of those people and I'm sorry to say it I don't wish negativity upon anybody but the way they both act him and Steve-O shows that they can do whatever they want whenever they want but now they have even more freedom because they own their own channels on youtube, welcome to 2024 or even the most inspirational recovering addicts are not recovered they are just paid enough to continue their usage
Novak said it perfectly, you can't get between someone and their rock bottom. I've been sober for 6 years and its hard to keep boundaries especially when it feels like I'm leaving certain people behind. But what it's really about is allowing life to unfold for itself, it's a uncomfortable process but believe it or not - the most loving path.
wow Novak drooping some truth bombs. "I'm a big fan of bad things happening" and "Never get in the way of an alcoholic and their bottom" - dont remember who said it but it IS nice to see the Jackass crew living clean and sober(AND happy AND prosperous).
@@galvanizedgnomeLMAO I don't think Novak is sober for the slightest I'm sorry I'm a recovering addict myself and I had the same drugs that Novak was taking besides alcohol, but I don't think he's sober I think he's paid enough to not be sober and put on this beautiful act as if he is
Hes saying talking points.. i was a addict for a long time across many different substances. If you need a class and dont have enough self awareness to know where the problem lies then you havent been thru it. He just sounds pretentious
@@jsmokee7933 well, then what do you call what you’re doing? He’s saying don’t enable someone don’t coddle them and don’t put pillows for them to fall onto. Drug addiction is a selfish disease where people choose substances over their family. I agree it is an illness not a crime, but it’s time we stop coddling these little babies. And if you’re so woke, you should know that Bam is doing well and that is a reason to be happy for him and the rest of the JA crew. If you’re gonna be selfish and choose substances over your kid, your family, then a couple harsh words are nothing to get all weepy over. There’s way too much pandering to feelings these days. Suck it up buttercup. That’s why we have men fighting women in combat sports and penises in the female locker room of a woman’s swim team. nope, it’s time to stop coddling and cancelling. Screwing peoples lives over hurt feelings is pathetic. I don’t care who disagrees you can kiss my butt while I’m using it.
We all grew up with these guys and they have all been through some crazy stuff in life. I love it now they are a little older and using all those life experiences to be as open and honest with everything to put a positive message out there for anyone that needs it 🤟✊
They don't support Bam Margera in the slightest. They want his downfall they want to take the spotlight because Bam Margera has had the spotlight for so long, Bam Margera was in Finland working with the band him, and even that guy the lead singer is not sober to this day he just apparently moderates his drinking, the same guy pushing alcohol on Bam Margera when bam was young, bam has more than enough reasoning and logical excuses to be in the position that he's in, yes I hope he gets sober I hope he gets better obviously, but as for Stevo and novak? I don't think they're sober I'm sorry but I really do not think that they are sober especially the fact that they're getting paid so much money to the point where they could use easily and get away with that sober personality it's so simple to do
what, a boring fucking loser who does nothing else apart from going on and on about "sobriety"? i mean yeah i guess he was always meant to be that. that or dead
I’m proud of Bam finally getting his shit together. However he still has to work to repair a lot of the relationships he messed up over the years. Luckily Steve-O and Novak are more forgiving than most people I know when dealing with Self destructive addicts.
There is no evidence that Novak has any right to even be forgiving, nor stevo. They were both paid to be high and drunk or just intoxicated on set but they were not kicked off or banished from the realm of Jackass, even though Novak only had cameos, speaking about Stevo himself he wasn't banned from anything, he did Wild Boys he did the original jackass movies while he was intoxicated, they knew it Jeff Tremaine knew it everybody knew it, yes he had an intervention okay that's fine, but Bam Margera doesn't deserve any chances? It doesn't make any sense and I'm not talking about you and what you commented I'm just speaking generally that Novak and Steve-O act like they are forgiving or this or that, when Bam Margera has put up with enough crap from both of them he had to fish out money in order to make Novak straight or get him out of trouble, Stevo he has his own story but regardless none of them were kicked out of the shows or movies and it's not fair that Bam Margera has to because bam being included in jackass 4, it might have actually helped his mental it might have actually made him get better a little bit quicker than people want him to, but that didn't happen because greed and trying to bring down the man that practically held the sword and rode the horse throughout the entire series,
I’m happy for Novaks 180 , I’d never want anyone to suffer in their life and it was remarkable…but I’m kinda over his whole “being professionally sober” routine.
Novak made sobriety his entire identity and career Which is understandable, he's one of the biggest success stories for the program. If he doesn't stick to it religiously he's down shitcreek fast
I really hope Bam turns around and stays that way. It’s a very hard thing to do but it’s worth it in the end.(I’ve been there myself).. I idolized Bam all through my high school years. I thought he was the coolest fucking dude. I only watched Jackass for him and the CKY crew. They were all awesome..seeing him in such bad shape is heartbreaking. I wish him the best.
Dude I quit drinking 2 years ago. Went right to the drink after work for a long time. Just think of how much more aware you'll be. No body aches. I didn't substitute it with anything. My ex was constantly drinking and still does. You just need it to click inside you. I never thought I'd stop
@@Matto-5000love this comment, I always say as recovering addicts when we were in active addiction, we were searching for that switch you know that switch that turns the entire Addiction on or off, but sometimes, the switch finds us. My case was the switch found me and once it found me I surrendered and I said that's it I'm done I can't do it and it wasn't rehab that helped me it wasn't canceling it wasn't groups or meetings, it literally happened when I was just laying in bed one night and it hit me I woke up one morning and said this is something I just cannot do any longer and I did not and I am proud of myself and I am also proud of you❤❤❤
I still can’t believe it. I gave up home on him and was waiting to hear the news that he died. Hope he sticks this time. Bam was huge for the culture and it’s been so sad seeing him decay.
I feel for Brandon. I have so many friends that I want to help but I can’t because I had to put up boundaries. It’s hard to help someone get sober when you’re fighting for your own sobriety and they send you snaps of pills and shit.
If someone you care about keeps doing something that you know could potentially hurt others and you do nothing, you are co-signing their bullshit in you are no better than they are. True friends hold their friends accountable for their actions and that's the only way we become better people 💜💜💜
@@Emtrax.Oh and you're going to say the same thing about Steve-O and novak? The same two jackasses that were on jackass and we're practically paid not even practically they were literally paid to be high and drunk on set, their excuses for their using apparently is accepted widely by the public but Bam Margera's reasonings are completely excuses and that's it? That doesn't make any sense at all and if that's how you think then you either have never been through addiction or you are just talking out of your rear because it doesn't make any sense especially assuming that Novak and Steve-O are sober just because of the way play portray themselves on social media which is definitely not a reliable source for any truth
@@SAMEntalhealth By the third movie it was in Steve o's contract not to, and bam for the forth and why he got kicked off. He has relapsed multiple times and has lied about being sober. This time as time goes on, it does seem more likely he is telling the truth. I don't know how saying that is talking through my rear. Your whole personality seems to be addiction.
Every addict cant get sobriety on the first try. Takes a couple of bunch. But just as long as he keeps trying. Kudos for Bam... My 16 month is coming up on Dec. 9th. Everyday is a struggle.
Stop saying that right now LOL 60 days is fantastic and I am f****** proud of you so do yourself a favor and be proud of yourself hopefully you're more than 60 days now that this comment is 3 months old but I hope you're doing okay❤❤❤❤❤
Are you referring to Bam margera, my bad but I still hope you're doing really good❤❤ yes 60 days is not a lot compared to a lifetime but then again a whole lifetime is considered a long time but even 60 days is considered a long time its 2 months and a couple days of sobriety and that is a lot for somebody that needs a substance every 6 hours or so, or even less than that when I was using fentanyl I know damned well I needed another hit within 3 hours actually, or I would be in full-blown withdrawal so trust me I get it
it is fucking wild that you two boys are the sober souls. it is fantastic for both you, of i am so proud of you guys. i am still struggling with booze, already have one rehab stint and just back on booze, i am going to work and still with my family, but i am back in the swamp... bam is fucked it seems. happy you guys have found recovery though. stevo is a massive inspiration to. me, even though i lost focus and am back on the drink. i still get incredible inspiration from stevo and others, this is a hard fucking thing to deal with.
How can you even say that? Bam Margera's timeline is nothing compared to most of our time lines that are in recovery, yet he is hopeless? Do you really think that Steve-O and Novak are completely sober? I called complete BS on that because they are paid by RU-vid along with whatever the hell they're doing for money to be intoxicated whenever the hell they want, I'm sorry but I don't trust celebrities and at one point they were not technically celebrities but now apparently they are the most important celebrities in the sobriety Community GTFO with that BS😅😅
His new fiancé is the reason why he’s able to skate again. She legit revitalized the man’s legs.. he doesn’t wanna lose her, I can tell. Skated with him at a local park here a couple times. A while back.
Of course not because they're both intoxicated whether they admit it or not, it's clearly obvious that Novak and Steve-O are not sober and I'm not even saying in this video per se, but generally I can almost guarantee you 100% that they are not sober especially the way that they are airing somebody else's dirty laundry out and trying to make themselves seem like they just got out of the washing machine
I had some friends with drug problems that at some point I had to get rid of, because they started harming me, including one who didn't like it when I asked him not to look for me anymore. It's terrible when it gets to that point.
I hung out with Bam a couple of weeks ago, and I really got the feeling that he's still not in a great place. I'm not an expert on anything, and I'm not passing judgement. But he worried me. His girlfriend spent a lot of time trying to speak for him. I had to interrupt her several times. Bam is a good dude and I wish the best for him.
To think that Steve-O would become the role model for sobriety and turning one’s life around is absolutely incredible considering just how many times Steve-O could’ve died over the decades. I sincerely hope Bam continues his sobriety and continues to get better, it would be amazing to see him become a poster boy for turning it all around, too.
Bam will be drinking in a month or two as sad as it is to say but it's the truth .I'm dealing with the same disease he has called alcoholism it's horrible and I don't have anyone to talk to about my problem just myself.I hope you stay sober Bam .
You find humility when you hit your bottom. If you think you hit bottom and you haven't found humility you haven't hit your bottom. Hopefully Bam has now hit his bottom and can come back stronger. If Novak was able to do it so can bam. We all rooting for him. He needs to be less of an asshole with those who care about him and FIND FUCKING HUMILITY. You can do it Bamski. We all here for it.
Will opiates come from the poppy plant which give me morphine which means fentanyl or heroin which are morphine components, fentanyl a synthetic opiate that's lipophilic, any type of pain killing opioid or opiate derives from the poppy plant
I really hope Bam makes it through this crap, I understand what he's going through but his family and friends need him.... Still can't believe Novak actually got clean before Bam, that's insane. 😂
We don't really know if either of them are sober is in Stevo or novak, we don't know unless they whip their dicks out and piss for us inside of a cup, that's the only way we will know for sure but to be honest with you I don't trust their demeanors. They seem like people that are getting so much Fame and Glory that they are paid to get intoxicated however now they're running their own channels so it's a whole different ball game than just being on jackass and not only that they were basically paid to be high and intoxicated or drunk on jackass so the irony of Bam Margera getting kicked off of Jackass is just hilarious because Steve-O and Novak even though Novak was just a cameo in certain episodes of Viva La bam, or jackass, Steve-O himself I can't even trust because of the way he talks about sobriety towards bam and I am a recovering addict I've been through the wringer so many times and I can tell a BS artist when I see one. Not bashing your comment at all I'm just speaking my mind
Correct! I do not look at Steve-O the same anymore after these podcasts and I don't care what people say, I don't think him or Novak are completely sober to be honest with you I don't think any of them are I think they're just using them like you said as clickbait
Its easy for people in recovery to sound preachy and obliterate your face with cliche sayings and "wisdom" i like that novak and steve-o keep it real and give a realistic and inspiring view on recovery and life in general without being holier than thou
@johnsmith_treeler9031 apparently Steve-O was going for a Guinness World Record for the highest pool dive into a pool of urine... look it up on Google. Lol. Anyways. I'm peeing in a jug because my Dr needs a jug of my pee for my hypertension/ high blood pressure text. Doc said I had to, so here I am peeing in an f-ing jug.
I understand having the comment section & the intention behind it of course people will ALWAYS find a way to ruin anything ….i myself never leave nasty or negative comments 🤷🏼♂️I just don’t see the point of it,just don’t say anything 🤨 I also don’t need to put others down to feel good about myself so……
I think Bam only talks crap about everyone because he felt so vulnerable and bad about himself already (esp. when pple had to start distancing themselves from him) that he just kinda assumed that everyone was already talking crap about him...when in reality no one really was..they were all judgement free waiting for him to wake up & get sober & grow up w/them. If anyone brought up Bam or his kid or stuff he did to his old peeps, at most they'd say something like "Yea I wish he'd get sober and I hate that he wont."
"is steveo talking shit about me" "nah bro" *this video* Yeah its nice that bam smiles when he talks about you but not really that his girlfriend you never met called to tell you that
