Crystina Poncher talks to Brandon Rios about his experience facing Manny Pacquiao in the ring. Rios says that Pacqiuao's speed and awkwardness is what killed him.
I knew Manny did not really hurt Brandon Rios. But, I think this fight was very similar to Margarito's fight. You can see the face of Margarito and Brandon are the same.
A veteran commentator in one of Pacquiao's fight once said "if a boxer isn't doing what he is supposed to be doing in the ring, there's a reason for it, and in this case that is Manny Pacquiao." Rios couldn't execute his game plan because Manny didn't allow it (he got overwhelmed by Manny's superior hand speed and excellent footwork), not because Rios didn't leave it all in the ring that night.
I think that people misunderstand when boxers say "he didnt hurt me", they don't mean as pain hurt, they mean it as "getting stunned or shaken hurt", with that being said, never trash talk a legend like paquiao, he will show you the humble way of things
He definitely was stunned by some of Manny's punches. There was this one, straight punch from Manny that he didn't see coming, it hit him right on the face and his head swayed backwards. It looked nasty, props to him for not going down but that hit clearly stunned him, he paused for a while before moving again.
Wow thats awesome and he deserved it to be punished because of too much trashtalking before the fight, now he realised that he mess with the wrong opponent. Hope he would learn to be humble now.
My nephew and niece are to loud so i needed to turn the subtitles on, and i laugh so hard when i read the subtitle at 0:26 saying "what killed me was his penis" 😂😂
Don't you love it when the post-fight interviews of these guys are like "boo hoo, I fought my heart out and all that" and then you switch to Pacquiao and he is like (with heavy Philippino accent) "Yes, it was very good, I punched him in the face a lot, I am now going back to work as a senator in 2 days" lmao
kakkaka, did Manny whoop his ass? He said, "Manny never hurt him." Who hurt Brandon Rios? I think Brandon got many kisses by those girls. His face tells me differently.
Rios's ego suffered more than his body from this defeat. And it is fully understandable. He was, after all, a DOMINANT ex-lightweight champion. To come from such heights to barely winning a round against a guy that's even smaller than he is hard to take. But Rios's defeats don't erase what he's already achieved. What you've attained, Champ, no one can take from you. You achieved what 99% of boxers failed to do, and no true fan of boxing will forget that. Neither should you.
man brandon fought like he was scared to let his hands go he refused to exchange with manny like he has with all the other fights he's been in he fought like he was trying to not get knocked out the whole fight whenever manny punched brandon would just cover up he only punched when manny wasn't punching he definately didn't leave it all in the ring that night

He deserved this after his camp was talking mad sh- about Pacquiao but respect, he’s a new man today. That’s the beauty of growing old and wise and learning
you should watch his training camp footage where he dissed pacquiao his wife his trainer his religion his physical size manhood etc, come back and tell me he's a real man, He's a punk
I have nothing but the utmost respect for Brandon. I am a Pac fan, but Brandon really did show heart that night and its tough to see a solid guy break down in the way that he did during this interview. He did 5 months of grueling training, and to end up with no win, would piss any guy off.., hell, it'd even break your spirit. So I can understand how he felt. And it shows just how much of a good guy he is when he felt more personal embarrassment on behalf of his team overall than he did for himself. He felt he let his team down rather than everything being on his own shoulders, it shows he cares about others. I'm a fan of Brandon Rios since that day.
Wanna know why he is that hurt emotinally? Cause we wasn't able to back up all those trashtalk and insult he did to manny. Respect is earned not given.
Brandon Rios seemed proud that he was able to take all of Manny Pacquiao's punches. I'm looking at his face and thinking, "yeah, man. We can tell you took all of his punches."
Ríos looks like the Elephant man after talking all that shit big man become crying baby but after the fight ríos said well you should of seen Manny’s hands I swollen his Fists with my Face
imagine he spent 5 months in the gym talking shits then when the fight comes, he was treated like a punching bag. well, anyone would cry after being treated like that.
I'm a Pacquiao fan but I'll say this Brandon you have nothing to be ashamed of because you fort your heart out and was there to the end I feel bad for you because you put so much in to being ready but no one can take anything away from you chin up sir
If he wasn't hurt then his face should be free from bruises. If he wasn't hurt, why does he cry? It is just that when a man is faced with a beautiful woman, sometimes, he says things different from what he actually feels. It's okay to cry Brandon. Doctors say that we feel better after we cry. It would have been more entertaining if you did it on Crystina's shoulders.
