rios punches never hurt Alvarado, Alvarado only acted that way to please the crowd, and to trick rios into thinking it hurts.. it allows rios to being reckless for an open counter shot

Actually, Ríos is from Lubbock, Texas, and Mike Alvarado is from Denver, Colorado. But both are Warriors no doubt, Alvarado is also a very good wrestler.

Rios has good defence in a lot of ways but his positioning leaves him in a place where he's always in a place he can get hit and his lack of any ability to counter leaves his opponents without any hesitation to pick their shots.

As boring as Mayweather is to watch at times, I would much rather fight like him than like these guys. Nullifying your opponent through precision and timing is much more impressive than throwing as hard as you can with reckless abandon and hoping you’re the guy who’s still standing at the end. I’ve watched this fight at least 10 times though, so as a fan, I love this shit.

As a Filipino who grew up watching boxing, I appreciate the warrior spirit displayed by Latino fighters. They may not be flashy but you can definitely expect them to go down swinging.
