One of the best phrasing, exceptional tone and skills I've ever listened to,and I have heard a lot. This was five years ago,so I suppose this overgifted young lad has probably reached perfection or he is really close.
I suspect he chose not to pursue Music as his primary thing (yet...) He clearly had the talent and exposure to make it that what he wanted to do. Luv and Peace.
Yikes. Taz has been studying Tommy Bolin! Beautiful solo work. It's rare that I listen to a guitarist on RU-vid and in the middle of a solo I shake my head and exclaim "Holy Shit!" out loud.
I'm just an interested listener with no knowledge. My ear tells me the second guitar is a wonderful part of the performance. Just a little resemblance to Allman/Betts. The kid has played with Trucks. That would be an interesting listen.
@@francoisbouvier7861 This type of arrangement has never bothered me with AC/DC, since Malcolm was the one coming up with all those classic "rythm" parts. Angus would double what Malcolm was doing, and then Angus would always take the solo. Malcolm never aspired to be a "lead guitar player." It just kind of sticks in my craw when you have one guy who is the "Star," and everyone else is just there to back him up. Like, get over yourself dude.
@@worryphree What are you worried about? It's their arrangement, their agreement. They're having fun. It sounds great. If he was backed by a keyboardist instead, would you require a keyboard solo? What about a bass solo? And a drum solo? Worry less.
