I saw so much Whitney in her here. You could tell she admired Whitney.! Her posture, Certain moves and the way she does her mouth. A few runs. Man these were the great days,Great singers were still here. Real fashion. Smh. Want it all back.
she's so mindful, i love how she's aware of the audience, of how she sounds, of how she looks, and of how she moves around the stage. a master performer...i hope to enjoy performing a song one day as much as she did in this :)
i love brandy and it is MORE than apparent how much of an influence whitney had on her. she studied whit's performance style down to a tee! unlike many artist, at least brandy made it a point to give the person who influenced her so much due propz!

Brandy's voice changed after Never Say Never was released. It was going through a transformation. Her voice is much fuller, and richer than it used to be. A LOT more powerful. There's so much more depth and color to her voice now. And I LOVE it. Y'all, don't sleep on Brandy. She's real talent. She's 32 years old now, there's no reason why she should sound like a little girl. Young Brandy here couldn't do half of what adult Brandy can do now, believe me!
Seeing this reminds me of the early Moesha shows, I always wondered why they never wrote her singing into the show... That would have been interesting, she could have sung at "The Den" lol....
Brandy should've had a mid-season variety series called 'I Love Brandy' or The Brandy Show where she played herself with faux behind-the-scenes plots, comedy sketches, music, and celebrity guest appearances. Would've been lit.

yea i heard the album in full and i must admit im very happy....she sounds like she trying to really be about the music instead of regaining the fame she had early on in her career!!!...i have always been a Brandy fan cuz i believe vocally she is extremely gifted i just wish she would showcase what she could do more...cuz the girl is BAD!!!!

Give her room to grow as an artist she already proved she can do runs, and all that she wants to change up her style and move on...i notice now she is inc operating more runs again and taking some of what she used to do back into her vocal performances but into more original way give her time to keep growing
She was a child. Her voice got deeper as she got older. It happens all the time. I'm glad it did because she has one of the best lower registers in the industry. Deep, but still beautiful! 😁
Man i am really puzzled by Brandy's voice....i mean man she SHINED in the 90's....her voice was like soulful butter.....so smooth...her tone and ad-libs were remarkable....now she jus sings in this raspy like tone...i dont like that...i dont even hear any soul cming from her anymore....producers like timberland fucked her sound up...
