My husband is a drummer and plays in a local band (Soul Dawgs) that plays a lot of Brantley, Morgan Wallen, Jellyroll, Colt Ford, Jason Aldean.... he (my husband) Thunder Dawg, comes from a large family where everyone is a musician. My husband took the younger generation and put this band together to keep the tradition going and all the older family has something negative to say. Instead of supporting them which is heart breaking bc they look up to them.I'm always hearing "that's not country" and my answer to that is THANK GOD!!!! I am so dang tired of the tear in your beer country the older folks listen to. I just can't take it anymore. I needed this rap,rock, and country mix. It's like a breath of fresh air to me. The creative who takes risks touch more people and create the passion to ignite change and growth.
