Sending Bream with 1 out is just amazing to me. One of the most memorable moments in baseball for me.

There were two outs. Gant’s fly to left along with a popout by Brian Hunter.

I love it. U can watch a baseball game with no electric, corpoate advertisement behind home plate. No annoying ticker at the bottom with EU soccer scores. No exit velocity update, no pitch count & last pitch mph on the top right screen. The score is shown when the score changes or at the top of the break. Simple good, classic baseball were those early 90's. Oh, and no annoying graphic square at hone plate telling us of human error & insinuating the point that umps need to be eliminated & AI should ump.

Excellent points! Also, no “fans” sitting behind home plate wasting their seats because they spend the entire game texting on smart phones…

@@Jeremy_23 Just get rid of EVERYTHING that exists now & go back to the way things were 45 years then, would you like that??

John Schuerholz told me that this was the most exciting thing he'd ever seen in baseball. I will certainly never forget it.

As a pirates fan this disaster in burned into my memory and 20 years before they also lost in the bottom of the 9th on a wild pitch.

Don't feel alone brother! I had to watch the Braves lose to the Minnesota Twins in '91!

People forget that Cabrera almost hit a HR the pitch before his base hit. Barely hooked left of the pole. He was completely dialed in for this entire series.

Like the NFL's 1981 "The Catch", it was not only thrilling but defined an end of an era for one team and the continuing dawn of an era for another.

Unless you're a Pirates fan. Then it's more like the Cleveland Browns and The Drive and The Fumble. P.S. It's been 30 years, and I still despise Balco Barry Bonds. I am hoping that if Aaron Judge doesn't stay with the Yankees, he gets to go to a team with a hitter-friendly ballpark and can obliterate all of Bonds' numbers.

End of an era for Dallas?? Well no. In the next 6 seasons Dallas went 51-33. They did have one down at 3-13 but were 11-5 in 1991 and 13-3 in 1992. They they won SB's in 1993, 1994 and 1996. They did not exactly collapse after "the catch."

I watched it live. I jumped about 3 feet off the ground but didn't make sound so not to wake my 6 month old daughter

Sid Bream gave everything he had to get to home plate. Fastest he's moved in his life.
