Braving Blizzard Conditions in My Van 

Traveling in a van is THE most ideal way to adventure, this last weekend was a perfect example. I set out from Van Land HQ in Santa Rosa after work on Friday to head up to Mammoth and enjoy a weekend snowboarding in the fresh powder that was littered over the Sierras. My plans quickly changed due to the extreme snowfall in the area. After hours of sitting on closed highways I altered my course to see what the immediate area had to offer.
My van enabled me to change my plans because I didn’t have a hotel reservation waiting around for my arrival and my van was packed with fresh groceries. I ended up completely alone in a remote area and enjoyed some hot springs to myself ッ
