Good god, does Felger actually like baseball? Does he feel anything other than just despising it no matter what??? Unwatchable? Boring? While the Sox were going on their biggest offensive binge in years? (first time they scored 8 runs in an inning at Fenway in like 5 years or something). Yes Bello was tough to watch. But jesus, listening to this you would never ever guess that during the part of the game he was watching, the Sox were having an amazing inning and everyone else was enjoying the hell out of it
Felger and mazz got way to much love and praise in the 2010s for this shtick cuz we were actually winning all the time so no one really cared. Now that were in a "drought" people r realizing how fucking nuts it really is. Sad thing is is that this mentality has infected a LOT of boston fans minds
The only thing Felger likes is the Yount blankie he sleeps with every night. He just yaps to anger people and to appeal to all the loser fans that still haven't adjusted to all the titles Boston teams have won since 2000. 13 frickin' titles with all 4 winning at least once and these guys still play the loser game. Just shows how far radio has fallen. Most have moved on, but these 2 will squeeze every last cent from all the whiny losers still left in Boston.
@@DillaDonuts yeah, when the sports hub launched I was a teenager and I quickly already got sick of their shtick then, but now as an adult it’s just unbearable at times
He’s the most disappointing player on the team. It’s actually a miracle they they’ve been so successful with him being so awful this season. Houck, Winckowski and Crawford have been great.
And Mazz is an a-hole. These are things we all know. If the Sox made the moves that Mazz has suggested over the last few decades they would have 0 titles. He is probably the most clueless person around. Back when real journalists were on sports radio, Mazz was always the stupid clown. Now they've all moved on and he's Felger little toad. Can you imagine being that much of a loser? I'd love to see Mazz say the things he does to player's faces. He'll never do that, he's got his little hideout right next to Felgy.
@youtubeconnollyfamily huh? A few bad games? Every game he has pitched so far this year has been a disaster. He has no real command on the mound. And keeps getting better each year? Ummmm, wrong. Lol. He hasn't gotten better this year. Just factually incorrect. And just a kid? He's 25. He's hardly a kid. Usually 25 year old pitchers are in their prime. Literally everything you said is wrong. Bello has been horrible. Arguably the most disappointing player on the team. His ERA is almost 5. What part of that is good?
Mike, Cmon expansion era, you know when the Leagues went to two divisions and had more than 8 teams. Not that hard bro. Edit. Just heard Felger complain about the pace of play. Jesus Felger they just had a 2:28 game the other night. Can't do much more to speed up w/o ruining something
Seriously, like I guess I’m sorry our team scored eight runs in an inning, that’s obviously going to add some time to the game. And I don’t know how he has never heard of the expansion era, I’m in my early 30s and this is not a new term to me at all
Bello needs a mentor to help him deal with his maturity issues.......maybe AAA might help him at this point. It's more head issues with Bello than anything else.
I highly doubt AAA will help much unless they have a specific pitch they want him to work on. I doubt they have a better option right now. They obviously have made some changes with his fastball so they're working on things. He's actually had some good success the last 2 games so don't even know why these idiots bring this up now. The way Felger and Mazz seem to be about to explode lately probably means only one thing. They are seeing some serious issues with ratings and are afraid their days are numbered. Radio is a dying beast, has been ever since they became #1. We know they don't get paid like Ordway so these guys probably need every penny before the whole thing is gone. The angrier they act, the sorrier their ratings are.
So, IF he ends up being good....then it's not a good deal; it's an unbelievable deal. But that's IF he ends up being good. What if ends up sucking? Then it's not a good deal. You're just playing the "if" game, which is fine...but we gave actual game results to go on and you're ignoring them. Also, I think that he signed the deal because he didn't want to vet on himself, maybe because he knows that he's never gonna be elite. Idk. But to sign that deal...is a bit of a red flag. It's fine for the team, amean what do the red sox care? Pennies to them. And IF he ends up being good then it's a team friendly deal. But that's a big IF.
Kids young, he's not an ace (yet) but he's a solid 5th starter .. tearing him down like you guys are used to doing doesn't do much for him.. you guys couldn't do any better so 🤷
Lmao. Sox better prey that he's more than a #5 starter, because if that's what he ends up being then this is the worst deal of all time. And btw, he was their single most hyped up pitching prospect in probably 40 years. Seriously. He was more hyped than Lester and buccholz. He was promised to us as being a legit #1. We were told for years that he's the next real deal. He's also their only real pitching prospect. So it's not just the contract; it's his background. They've been talking this kid up for years. "5th starter" - LMAO.
