Brazil is potentially growing into a global superpower. Over the past two decades, Brazil’s economy has grown rapidly. Despite a recent slump, it is projected to boom in the coming decades, becoming the fourth largest economy in the world by 2050. Meanwhile, Brazil’s population will slowly grow, before peaking in 2043. In addition, Brazil’s political influence and military will expand. Brazil is already the regional power of South America, with the 9th strongest military in the world. However, it is now spreading its political influence across the world and growing its military. Moreover, Brazil’s cultural and economic influences are growing through tourism and its MNC’s. By 2050, Brazil is projected to be a global superpower, with a robust economy, a powerful military and expansive cultural/political influence.

Gdp per capita is just a statistic. The money needs to reach the people...how? In the same way they reach the people on develop countries. They have critical technical employees to make relevant technology...to the world. Brazil have just big agribusiness with low people demand. This make our exchange currency problem. We can improve that with good and safe tourism...but we have a problem here too. What is critical to developing a country...we need to invest. No problem if is needed a public company for that. Renault, Pegeout and Citroën is a french public company. Just make it right with no corruption. P.s. I'm brazilian.

Brazil is the United States of America antimatter. The US has a constitution (never mind how many ignore a book as long as the book itself remains). The two pillars of it are a synthesis (mistaken by many as an afterthought instead of a crucial highlight) expressed in its first and second amendments (and saliented in the Bill of Rights). Brazil's foundations are as jelly and spineless as its obtuse people and doomed to dim further afield into a fine powder to be blown by history's winds. Thank God.

@@jaubsbuajs1610 Não. A China pela maior parte da história se quer existiu, ela passou por diversas guerras civis e emancipações. O maior inimigo da China, em grande parte da história, foram seus próprios conflitos internos (é difícil convencer milhões de pessoas a milênios atrás que eles tem que se juntar num país só, mesmo falando línguas diferentes - até hoje é muito comum a existência de dialetos locais). O Brasil não teve nada disso, mas tem uma história muito mais curta (200 anos, porque antes era uma colônia e não tinha poder sobre si mesmo), com desvantagem tenologica, científica e com uma oligarquia já estabilizada.

Of course, nowadays because of Covid-19 all countries are struggling with their economies bankrupt and the overloading of health systems. Be free to agree with him, btw he is your friend. @@khannasrul6404 Probably you friend is from a slum, or, how we call it here "favela". Brazilian slums are everywhere in the big cities, it resembles a bit poor neighbourhoods. But in no way they are prevalent in the cities. Actually, most of brazilian cities don't have slums. Brazil it's a huge country from north to south. There are places you'd think you were in Africa (city of Salvador, São Luís or Rio de Janeiro), and others as you were in Europe (Gramado, Pomerode, Blumenau, etc), or even at Asia (São Paulo and Curitiba cities received thousands of japanese, chinese and korean people at 1900 onwards). I'd suggest you to research about Brazil. We have our issues, but it's still one of the best places to live on earth. Greetings.

I love seeing videos and reading about Brazil. It is our big neighbor to the south. I still remember when Brazilia was built about 60 years ago as the new Capital Like the video pointed out comparing Brazilian history to the US 🇺🇸 is hard, like apples 🍎 and 🍊 oranges. But there is a great potential there. Back in the late 1960's, while in college, I had a year of a history course, called Brazil 🇧🇷 and It's Neighbors, and I wrote a term paper about the Brazilian northeast matters.

Firstly, amazing job with the research... consistent data is the foundation of a good video. Your positive and negatives were very well placed. Bolsonaro in its ongoing government has done a terrible job regarding diplomacy, and this will probably impact Brazil’s future international relations. He has an external policy profile that is called unconditional support, which basically means that he gives more and asks nothing in exchange in international deals, specifically with the US.. that is unacceptable, because every deal has to be a win for both sides, but we give away our leverage on purpose This leads Brazil to a open economy for liberal and liquid markets, but it leaves a side internal growth and development of our own industry... ... another point that is important to add is how conservative policies impact not only politically, but also economically... for example... Petrobras is a huge petroleum player, internationally, but it refuses to migrate to cleaner energy projects... when all the other companies are...if you guys want to discuss it further, it will be a pleasure!

I'm genuinely impressed at how powerful Brazil seems to be. I was under the impression that the country still had a long way to go in terms of global and economic influence but it seems that the last few administrations have significantly improved the country under the radar if that makes sense. Usually when Brazil is mentioned online the rampant violence in poor neighborhoods is the first thing thats brought to the surface which seriously hides the glory of this nation. I hope Bolsonaro doesn't deviate from this powerful upwards trend, there's lots of potential in your country yet to be discovered! Maybe the pandemic will bring new growth opportunities! All you can do is hope corruption at the highest level is dealt with appropriately within the next decade or so, otherwise the country's doomed to enter a long lasting slump while other South American giants take its place. Argentina and Colombia have been making economic strides recently to keep up and a slump could seriously jeopardize Brazil's geopolitical power within the entire region.

@@Pyxlean IDK what's your standards for a super power but technologicaly it 2nd nation to have electric powered city, Brazil has one of the largest Navy at that time, has trans-Atlantic communication to Europe, and won a war against it's Paraguay and other Neighbors. Even Britain didn't dare to start one and offer a treaty.

@@Pyxlean It depends on what are your standards for a super power, for me its on the Military and Economic progress. When it comes to these standards Brazilian Empire is second in technology after US who has the first electric powered city which is New York. Brazilian Empire has also the second largest Navy after US that time a decisive key in their way of independence to Portugal.

Now I know why Johnny Rico came from Brazil. As a kid I was fascinated by a picture book on the construction of Brasilia, so it’s easy to imagine in a futurist light.
