SALVADOR, BAHIA - Before ever going to Brazil, Salvador was one of the top cities I wanted to visit - and finally this is the time. In this all video, I will take you to Casa de Tereza. This restaurant has a great atmosphere. Colorful interiors “Portuguese vintage” style, you feel the warmth of the Bahian atmosphere upon crossing the door threshold. A perfect prelude to amazing food and drinks. Delicious Moqueca accompanied by a perfect caipirinha.
In addition to this, we’ll focus on Afro-Brazilian culture in the heart of Salvador, Bahia. The people were amazing, the food was delicious but there's more to this city. One thing I noticed here is the proximity between the rich and the poor. One unique feature in Brazil is how close people from different economic classes live next to each other.
The US State Department gives Brazil a Level 2 travel advisory, which means it's relatively safe , but you should exercise increased caution. What is this? The most common crimes you'll face include pickpocketing and muggings. There is also a lot of gang violence in Brazil. That being said, let's get into the discussion about safety in this beautiful city of Salvador.
