I have enjoyed my time reviewing the Bread & Butter FatBoy. If the release had come sooner it would have been in my Best Pickleball Paddles of 2024 list. The FatBoy is a great looking paddle that I put in the All-Court category leaning towards the power paddle side for a widebody. This will get you a lot of attention on the court with the looks and the performance. I think this could be great upgrade from a beginner paddle and a great tournament paddle. I would love to see a FatBoy in a PPA.

I love the fact that it is a wide bodied paddle with a long enough handle for my tiny hands to get a two handed backhand on. And it looks pretty sick too 😊

I really need this paddle because my wife beats me. She played tennis at collegiate level and I can count on one hand the amount of times that I've beat her. 3 times out of maybe 30. We're both beginners at pickleball and we've been using wood paddles. I think this paddle just may give me the edge to at least count my wins on 2 hands. Great review, btw.

Great review thanks I just ordered a Fatboy, I’ve been playing with the CRBN power series 2X but getting tired with the delaminating, I like a really fast aggressive game, been playing for 10 years at 63 still play 2-4 hours a day 6 days a week, keep up the great reviews

I have a 14 mm Mach 2 Forza and I love it after coming off The double black diamond 14 mm and gearbox pro power. I have switched to being all in on the standard wide body vs the hybrid and elongated paddles. Unforced errors go way down, control and accuracy goes way up. Can’t wait to see how this compares.

I love the 'Simpsons' aesthetic. I like how B&B are making their paddles play differently from each other rather than just coming out with one version in different shapes. like, having in mind to create a poppy paddle almost demands a higher twist & low swing weight (ie a standard shape) because a poppy elongated would have to be weighted up to gain back control but then you'd lose the faster handspeed which compliments pop.

The design and colorway is the best that we have seen. The name is iconic. Finally the widebody shape is what I’m after. Just grabbed the apollo recently as my second paddle and have no regrets. Hoping to add the fat boy as my third ever paddle, but 2nd wide body. First paddle was the vatic prism flash.

Best paddle design of 2024 imo. I was lucky to be able to demo this paddle through a friend and it's super nice and solid. I would add 2 strips of lead tape to the side and it would be a nice set up. This is like the Apollo but with more power

The two things I find to be the most intriguing about this paddle are first the Kevlar and carbon fiber blend. Secondly I have never used a wide body paddle before and would love to try one out as I have heard the sweet spot is bigger on them.

I've been trying for a Bread & Butter paddle. The last time I was shopping for a paddle the one I wanted was sold out. FatBoy sounds like something I want. I was afraid of pop when I started but grown to love it. POP and Power, is something that interests me about this wide body paddle. Great Review. Enjoying your videos.

I had the opportunity to try this paddle a couple weeks ago thanks to an ambassador that plays at our local courts (big thank you Josh!). My favorite paddles currently in my bag are the Mark Pickleball Kenetic and Spartus Apollo. With the Fat Boy I feel it falls between the these paddles as far as the wide body vs hybrid shape. Performance wise, it has similar pop and power to the Kenetic with the sweet spot of the Apollo without having to add lead strips. One way or another, the Fat Boy will be finding its way to into my hands.

I’m loving that wide sweet spot and added control while being an all court paddle. Of course that design is beautiful!! I currently use a Kevlar blend and I’m loving it so I’m interested in trying this one as well

Another Awesome review. This is an amazing paddle. It has everything that I need in a paddle. I added 3 grams in the same position and a 1 ounce Slyce Sport speed cap. For me the speed cap made flicks, backhand rolls, and any offensive shots at the kitchen even more effective and consistent.

@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball I experimented with mine. Took the cap on and off for several days. I ended up settling on using the 1 oz cap plus tungsten it just was best for my playing taste. Obviously the overall static weight increased but it really doesn’t feel heavier. The static weight seems more of a personal preference to me. Maybe the static weight has more to do with the manufacturing process and material cost control for the brand than anything and the Brands just use weight as an additional marketing point? Swing and Twist weights looses a lot of rec or players that don’t get it to begin with.

Honestly, I can’t get over how clean the aesthetics are. I could definitely benefit from a larger sweet spot. Plus it stacks up incredibly well with its wide body competitors!

I am interested in this paddle because I have been looking to replace my Gen 3 Scorpeus. My first performance paddle was the Filth and I was the first at my local courts with BNB, but now there is dozens. I feel like an OG. Will likely purchase this by the 3rd drop when I see more reviews. Had to stop myself from buying the pickleball effect Mach 2 forza in order to wait for this but if I win the giveaway I will get both.
