I would sure love to come to iola and also go camping and fishing my husband passed away in o9 with lung cancer and it was hard to get through we had a son and daughter then we adopted 2 girls. When he passed out son and daughter were married but our girls were only 8 and 1o I've got them raised now they are 26 and 27 . God helped me it was hard on the kids and I. This is the way my mama made bread pudding too! I love it! You just can’t mess it up. Also as I told you before I just started watching your videos and noticed on a couple of them that you said some people complain about you talking too much! Please don’t pay no attention to that! I love all the things you talk about. You are so informative about your recipes and I like that. Your videos are real and definitely not boring. You are who you are and everyone has there own way of doing their videos . There is always someone complaining about something. I grew up in Arkansas -mama didnt measure much-but she was a good cook-she also made bread puddin from left over biscuits-left over cake--just whatever she had😅 and i learned to cook young -im 73 now

Looks great. Since I could eat sweetened condensed milk straight out of the can, I’m SURE it makes a great sauce. Don’t know why I never thought of doing that. Thanks!
My grandmother’s made it different from each other one made it like yours and the other made it with her day old rolls torn in big pieces but she put raisins and a little bit of sweet coconut shreds in it and her sauce was a can of eagle brand and bourbon warmed together and poured over it , I loved them both ways, my grandmother’s both cooked from scratch but cooked very different from each other , I have wonderful memories and recipes from them both , thank you for a wonderful memory, I’m a happy old lady right now !

If you pin, a doubled strip of wet terry cloth 😅cloth around the outside, it will make the outside cook slower, giving the inside a chance to cook before the outside gets over done. A tip from my great grandma. Works really well when baking a regular cake too!

I have collected them for years! I just love anything from the past and most of them are from random places I go to like flea markets or old shops!.. My husband says I have an obsession for them lol 😂

It's really good with craisins and pecans in it as well.❤😊 Also I was just wondering if you have a recipe for chocolate gravy with homemade biscuits and fried potatoes cut up in small cubes as a side?❤ Also a good meal my momma taught me was fried potatoes and pinto beans and homemade cornbread with onions and sliced tomatoes( out of the garden of course)😊and for dessert a real homemade chocolate cake ,double layer also with homemade icing!!! Omgz soooooooo delicious! That's the southern side of me! 🎂🥔🍞🍅🥮☕🥛🍽 and next day get a glass of milk and cornbread!!😊
That looks really good. I love bread pudding. You cook like I do, just throw it in. lol! I love the condensed milk idea. My husband was from Russia and he used to eat condensed milk right out of the can. It's a common treat over there I guess. When I have some left over I put it in my coffee. I made some of those coconut, condensed milk candies I saw on youtube, for Christmas. You're supposed to dip them in chocolate. (melted chocolate chips) It was a disaster. lol! Mine fell apart. So then I just poured the chocolate over them. Hey, it worked. The kids didn't care. They ate every one.
