3 or 4mm stitched qck would be goated. Been using the aqua control 2 for a long time and just brought out my cleaned and stored qck edge to run for a while.
fair enough. I gave the jupiter another crack over spring break and I still hate it. my hand sticks to it with just the tiniest bit of sweat and the pad has slowed down which isn't the worst thing but it still feels ridiculously slippery with certain mousefeet and slow as balls with others
8:50 if you think humidity is a meme, it's because you've never experienced the issue first hand. GSR-SE gets affected by humidity so much that it can be as fast a mix of an AC2 and Hayate Otsu, and *almost* as slow as a GSR. At 40% humidity, it's as fast as can get. At 65%, it's little bit slower. At 90% humidity, it's a full on mud pad. Bad. Worn GSR type of bad. A cordura pad will go from being very fast to still veing fast in 99% humidity.
i literally live in north carolina, I've experienced humidity. also, unless you have actual numbers pulled from a force meter what you are spouting is pure hyperbole. the gsrse gets slower with humidity but every pad does. you simply notice it more because it is slower than "humidity-resistant" pads by default, particularly with respect to static friction. if you use a harder pad with low static friction (for example the ac+ white I am currently using) you will notice the effects of humidity less because the static coefficient is lower. conversely, soft pads like the gsrse, qck, or esports neon for example will feel "stickier" and "muddier" when its humid or when you sweat for the opposite reason. I have a cordura pad, the wicked bunny sprint and I agree it does feel fast when it's very humid but that's because it is extremely fast in the first place, as is the case with every cordura pad.
Blue, if you're part of the MR discord server, please look for a guy named "Meat" and ask him to explain to you how humidity works, please. I am lowkey fed up with people who check their phones, see the outside humidity and then make stupid claims. During the winter in my country, we literally breathe water outside while my room is dry. As for GSR, i don't know where that meme came from but it's both durable and fantastic pad if it's up your alley in terms of speed.
i kinda disagree with your take tbh my qck felt like shit after 3 weeks while my lgg saturn is still considerably consistent. it slowed down for sure but it does not have any slow spots compared to my qck and it still glides consistently regardless if i have the ac on or not.
ah my bad, both are heat printed (PA uses the same printing process as gsrse) and the pa does not have stitched edges. so in a pure value comparison it probably doesn't matter whether you choose the se or a PA but again I don't have a PA so I can't form a definitive opinion
Interesting. I haven't tried the black GP4 myself but i am shocked to hear how coarse it the ones with print are one of the smoothest pads on the market hands down similar to brand new Vaxee PA, but unlike PA, GP4 remains smooth after wash while PA turns into regular pad like Gigantus V2. Still retains it's high static and low-ish dynamic but still that unique smooth feel fades away. As for being affected by sweat/heat i'd agree. Even cheaper less known pads handle that better than the ever so overhyped Artisans. Once my Raiden/Hien heat a bit and absorb a little sweat they become unusable and sticky. Not an issue in actual games such as Apex, CSGO, Valorant but if i use them during Aimlabs routine around the 20-30min they turn to sh&t if you constantly move your hand. Very few pads in general can withstand that honestly, especially now when the summer is approaching. For most pads, a sleeve seems to be a necessity if you do Aimlabs/Kovaaks routines that last around an hour or longer.
