When I went to JFO training for my short time in recon I gained a new respect for JTAC guys. If I had ever done anything differently in the military becoming a TACP is definitely up there. Sexy loadout. More radios= more people to drop ordnance.
@@standby_official The entire time I was like is he TACP?!?!? Great vid and awesome Chanel!! My dream is to be a PJ and awesome seeing people from Special Warfare
@@afternoondoggo2287 nice man get out there train make sure you run a lot. If you need help or wanna talk to a pj hit up Jay on Instagram @stby_jay he can prolly hook you up. Thanks for the views likes and subs man we appreciate it.
No I’ve thrown 3 extra mags in there with little goodies. Batteries I’ve thrown an 11550 in there as an extra. It expands quite well. Does it look sexy when it’s all fat and stuff with gear…no but it works. Ha
Arent there any radio devices which can reveive and transmit on multiple frequencies? Always wondered why you have to carry multiple radios if there are devices like this.
Not at which the encryption level we are running no. Multiple radios different frequencies must be able to talk simultaneously instantly and transmit to instantly without stepping on each other
It’s my favorite ptt so far. I wasn’t a fan of the peltor ones or invisio dual ptt I like having them separate. They’ve held up for two years I’ve had them no issues
When I was in afghanistan back in the day I set up my IFAK upside down like that. It makes it easier to pull your shit out if your doing self aid. My squad leader was a real asshole and acted like that was the dumbest idea ever.
Ya, the military now is a lot more forgiving with how gear is setup and more open to ideas on kit setup. It was SOP we used to run it however the army was setup just in case.
@@orpheusepiphanes2797 its a complete kit, which is pricey. or you can just run a power pack instead, but here is what we use. www.bdatech.com/connectivity
Ever seen a jtac? The radio on the back is just for visual representation. On the back I will run a prc 161 or a handheld video downlink radio. The two prc 152s have been replaced by prc 163s
@@standby_official Sorry i didn't mean to provoke you. I just wanted to say it's always thankful and appreciate to hear about real usage of kit and those figurations of gears made by experiences are really precious and really helpful for those who trying to set their gears first time, that helps to prevent placing specific gear in improper way or upside down or any misusages. However, would you mind if i ask you the reason of why you removed the pads on avs harness? Because i saw several pictures of gear settings without pads on harness. Is it because too bulky to move? or isn't it gives you a bad ventilation on your back by removing pads?
@@ejectionisanswer.7560 No you're good man, you didn't provoke at all. Good question. Its hard to relay sarcasm over typing. I do not have pads on my AVS simple reason, I wasn't issued them. I would have tried them with the pads forsure or i can buy them. But the harness to me is already very comfortable the pads might add thinkness im not looking for. If i was not running the harness i would look into a pad forsure.
